S4 TII Diff to S4 NA
May be a dumb question but does it work? Can i simply buy a used turbo diff and stick it in a 88' SE? I dont want to weld the diff just yet cause fiance will be using the car as well and from what i understand it gets pretty dangerous when its wet if you dont know what your doing.

ull need a drive shaft an t2 axels also ;)

Drill the plate the driveshaft bolts to on the diff.
You CAN slot your cv axles to fit the TII stubshafts as a temp solution but i recommend just going with t2 axles. Pretty easy stuff. Good luck bro! |

So correct me if im wrong, The pieces i need without slotting, x. TII Diff x. TII DriveShaft x. TII Axles? all the way to the hubs? or just the small things that stickout? |
Right now my S4 n/a has a t2 rear end/ half shafts. When i installed my n/a motor/trans/drive shaft i just had to slot the n/a driveshaft to mate to the T2 rear. Harder to explain then it is to do. I used a hacksaw and a dremel to do the job in 20min. Holding up fine for months now with some hard launches.

T2 diff T2 axles. keep your n/a shaft or get a custom shaft from mazdatrix. If you want it 100% proper you will need t2 diff t2 axles 5 lug swap- do not need but why not while your at it t2 driveshaft t2 trans t2 flywheel t2 clutch t2 clutch slave t2 starter I suggest doing what i did unless you seriously plan to go all T2 in the future. |
felix will this also work for s5?
