need help, wheel fitment

currently going trough some fitment issues and I figured this would be the best spot to post up.

My street wheels are 17x9.5 +15 mb battles with 255-40-17 all around. Ksport coilovers with about -2.5deg of camber

The rears have more then enough room as the rear is rolled and pulled.

Now the front is only slightly rolled, the car is rubbing in the front at the ride height its at.

I should have went with a smaller wheel up front, whats my best move to get these to fit? Should I go full negative camber, there is still a bit more to go in, and try and pull the front fenders?

Or just buy new tires?

Thanks,
Justin

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Justin

255s are way too wide, I'd go with a 215 or 225

shit just bought the wheels and got them mounted, should I try and run a little more neg. camber and roll out the fender a bit, or just buy a smaller tire?

Thanks

Are you trying to tuck tire at all? I don't see a 255 on a 9.5 +15 tucking under stock fenders at all

On my equip 9.5s I have a 225/40 Azenis with shine fenders maxed out camber

joshuaput 04-02-13 01:39 AM

i run 215/35/18 in front. on my 9.5s. low low with a ton of camber. I run whatever I can get in the rear. 225/40/18 to 265/45/18 whatevers. on my 10s. that is when my car runs.

I went full camber in the front and rolled the fenders as much as i was able to with a eastwood roller; however, its still rubbing in the front. Im think im going to ahve to raise it up a bit to fit the 255's

Any tips on getting the fender to roll more with the fender roller? Im heating it up and going back and forth with it, its rolling the lip perfect but not pulling the fender out as much as I was hoping.

get smaller tires

255 up front? Unless you plan on running some fenders I'd step that down to a 225 at most, as stated by everyone else up in here. Eh.

quick.msp 04-03-13 06:41 AM

haha ehhh^^

well I was playing around with the front and I raised it up a bit and it doesnt seem to be rubbing now. There is about one finger straight fitting between the tire and the fender.

I wish i did buy smaller tires but I had 255's up front before and the car handles amazing so i didnt wanna lose any front traction.

I will post pics for reference to anyone else trying to fit this size on stock body fc.

i dont have any problems with front traction.

I switch between 205's and 215's up front and don't have problems with traction. Brand is everything, Azenis and Star Specs grip like crazy, especially with plenty of camber but if you run shitty tires they won't grip.
