modded knuckles

whos running modded knuckles for more angle on there fc's. if so what size and offset of wheel are u running in the front? are u rubbing tire on the metal inner fender? and also havnt seen many people tub the inner fenders on fc's. alot of people have done it for the 240's. just kinda trying to figure if i should tub mine while the motor is out of it. seeing if i really need to go threw all the work to tub my frontend or not.

i dont think you need to tub it if youre keeping the rim under 10 inch width. some hammering and shit should take car of any rubbing in the inner fenders.

my knuckles are set up for a 18x9.5 -27 and i dont rub at all.

look into doing a caster modification rather than tubbing...

I just finished making these for a friend. He is running a set of bbs 17x10 +10 and the wheel wells had to be modified so he could run super low. He is also running a set of my s14 knuckles w/ modded LCa's.

thats my whole worry cuz i havnt got my coilovers yet so i cant set my car where i want it but the plans to run the car super low and so far the wheel setup is 18x10.5+2 in the front 18x11.5-7 in the rear

lol, get your shit together, then make adjustments...

If you want to really take full advantage of the knuckles you need to run something 17x9ish with a low offset. Also be ready to ditch the front swaybar and take a big hammer to any spots you rub.

this has also been discussed like 30,000,000,000,000,000 other times :/

As long as the width, dish and diameter meet my needs, i'm fantastic. Offset is a plus but spacers fix everything and what spacers cant fix, overfenders can.

im so bummed on rx7club drifting right now, with the exception of CJ, who makes valid and realistic posts.

dc i dont post on here about drifting cuz alot of people dont care for drifting on here this is my third drift car in 4 years i just wanted some opinions to see if i should take the time and do it or just say fuck it drop the ls1 in it and if it rubs it rubs.
