Left Foot Braking?
 

Does anyone else like to use LFB ( Left foot braking) on a bank to setup a drift? I have found myself doing it more and more, as a strive to get closer to walls and other obstacles for style points. It gives me a sense of security and predictability with proximity for me. Its also like have another sense of control while driving on a bank, (i.e) as I let out of the brake and let some out of the gas the car drives up the bank while if I apply brake and gas the car drives down the bank.

And for the judges it gives the idea that I am on throttle consistently, where as if I was not LFB I would be on and off the gas to setup the car.

i used it a lot in road racing when i had a Saenz 5 speed and didn't need the clutch to shift. it promotes a smoother transfer of braking and power into the chassis. nice car:)

Same, but with a formula mazda hewland dog box. the brake pedal is 2x as big as the others. Like an automatic brake pedal lol.

Drifting is a whole other ball game. If LFB allows you to set your car up the way you want it, then i can't really see a down side. Kinda like the hydro ebrakes, it has its advantages at certain scenarios. You the driver, with the seat time, will know when and where to use it.
