Coilovers, Lsd and seat time.

Seat time AND a seat. A good bucket seat seems to be overlooked when it comes to learning. You learn a whole lot quicker when you are stable inside the car and can use both hands on the steering wheel, as opposed to using your free arm to try and stop yourself from flying into the passanger's seat or out the window =)

It was on drifting.com, look at the name. I think it speaks for itself. :icon_tup:

Deentwon 01-29-10 12:54 PM

hah yea i saw that lol so was he being serious??

USS CJ 01-29-10 04:19 PM

SPLparts sells awesome and affordable seats.

The seat is pretty huge, like everyone has said, being able to concentrate on driving without worrying about bracing yourself on the car door is a plus haha.

Drive on roads with less bumps.

Deentwon 02-05-10 01:49 PM

the roads arent terrible here.. but theres really no way around it.. at school theres speed bumps and pedestrian crosswalks everywhere..
its like me telling you to drive around where theres no cops..

Deentwon 02-06-10 12:04 AM

its just pretty hard to drive w/o hitting a bump or dip or something.

Twins80s 02-06-10 08:21 AM

i dont wanna hear any bitching unless the top of your inner fender is shinny

Deentwon 02-06-10 09:52 PM

not really any bitching goin on here.. id be complaining about it then.
but i was just wondering if anyone has had the same problem and what they did to fix it.. without spending 700 bucks on coilovers..

I cooked the paint off the OUTSIDE of my fender from rubbing under full lock. Hammer time. I dont see how people get off on the sound of tires rubbing on metal. It annoys me. Haha.

Yes, bucket. NRG buckets are $300pr on ebay. Get two, sell the other to a friend. That's what i'm doing. Mine are in zee mail now! I can't wait.

I'm trying to picture watching footy of someone trying to drift and flopping around all over the place and it's funny.

Most of my friends i hang out with have racing seats. Not for fashion, because they keep your ass planted and makes driving the car hard more enjoyable.

Next topic. Anyone running their s4 front lower ball joints ON TOP of the control arm as apposed to underneath it? I'm wanting to try it but dunno if it's going to be strong enough set up like that.

Zenki FC3S 02-07-10 12:39 AM

ha i had my shit so low with a negative offset that i burnt a fresh paint job on stock fenders, all this driving straight.

USS CJ 02-07-10 12:48 AM

Youre doing it right haha
