E brake cable
 

So I went to auto zone today to price a new ebrake cable coz mine is starting to stretch. And I geuss there's three parts of the cable. The front and both rear. Wich part usually stretch the front or rears? Coz the not cheap lol.

Normally front. You may also want to remove the handle to double check to see fi teh cable is splitting the "cam/runner" of the ebrake handle. Its common. My split and I kept tightning the cable thinking it was stretching. In reality they dont much.

Invest ina hydro like the onee they have at poweredbymax. The ebrake on FCs are weak (or rear rotors too big :P)
and dont overcome the rear brakes as easily as 240s.

I will have to check that. If I went with a hydro I would defiantly want a Double rear caliper set up. But idk who makes one?

Dual caliper setup not required and only noticeable if your braking and using the hydro at the same time. Its overkill and most guys (grassroots/proam) dont use em.

Hydro runs inline and only locks off rears when your using it. I've been running a hydro with no dual calipers no problem and so do most others. Where is this notion that it is "required" ?? O.o

A wise man once told me he still uses stock ebrake, and if set properly is perfectly adequate. Hard to set right on a Fc, but with enough effort and proper settings should not lose a problem. Sorry for resurrecting this. Just seen so many posts on ditching traditional ebrake for hydro.

I bought all 3 cables, Ebc yellows, and a couple days of practice and setting it
