best diff 2 drift.

i got a turboII rx7. what diff would you recomend and why. im torn on witch one to get. i was thinking about just getting a kaaz 2 way.

I'm running the stock TII right now. I plan on going with Carbonetic.

I've heard nothing but good things about the Carbonetic/ATS Deftforce 2 way lsd.

I've heard it's bulletproof and has the easiest maintenance.

In general terms.

If you want drift only, 2 way is the one to get
If you want drift and road race then 1.5 may be better.

What's your budget, "hobo" drift?

500-1000 bucks i'd say kaaz/tomei/re-a/oem TII s4 rebuilt shimmed

If you are poor, weld.

i actually just ordered my kaaz yesterday. along with my super steering angle kit and a bunch of other tax return goodies lol.

I have always been a fan of OS Giken. To add, I know JTP runs one as well. And to add to that I thought Justin started on a 2 way and changed to a 1.5 and found the 1.5 was better for him.

I have had other friends change from a 2 way to 1.5 and they like it better as well.

Have a kaaz 1.5 installed by kaaz...no complaints what so ever.

Love my welded, hahaha

Spending less money on a diff means spending more money on aero. WAY more important.

Word, if you have a welded diff, your car will look cooler

Dirt-McGirt Mar 25, 2010 02:04 PM
