20b FD rx-7 question

Hello rx-7club!
I am considering getting rid of my fc and for my next purchase want to buy a 20b FD for my overall performance car. I am curious if the 20b FD platform would be good for both track use and drifting use, with minor adjustments when switching between both styles of driving. What is the balance like? What should i expect for maintenance? would the 13b make a better overall balanced car for a weekend enthusiast? all comments and suggestions are appreciated!

a 20b fd isnt a weekend enthusiast sort of thing. Big money there.

Nobody on this site is a good enough driver to have balance matter. do what you think will be neat and then drive it.

fd needs more work than the fc to drift well. i feel like i know what im doing when i drive my fc. i feel like it is my first time ever trying to drive with basically stock fd(coilovers only mod). very frustrating.

in any case. listen to josh. just drive what you want and enjoy the sport but expect to pay a ton for 20b/fd stuff.

i love sliding my 20b fd!! i will say that it has been an extensive build though!!! i used to have a v8 swapped e30 bmw and i love the performance of the fd over the e30. I feel that if you go with a good coilover setup, delrin bushings, and a solid diff like i did you will be pretty impressed!!

Not being a Dick but if you have to ask this question , you didnt do your homework. Do some research before making HUGE decisions like this.

Just save money and put a KA in it.
