So... If i buy one of those Zymols and sell the wax itself for $10,000 and get a free refill. I can actually profit after reselling the Zymol a few times? :)

I'm sure there's a catch behind that refill for life thing.

Risky Devil 03-19-08 02:07 AM

retarded

i'd rather go to brazil myself and pay someone to sap trees.

and have $28,000 left over.

CarzArKoo1 03-19-08 02:12 AM

lol, i can have so many nice paint job.

staticguitar313 03-19-08 02:46 AM

i'll pass, thats a scam dedicated to the idiot who polished his expensive turd daily >_> protecting paint is one thing, but buying wax that costs as much 16-30 professional paint jobs is STUPID!!

magus2222 03-19-08 03:10 AM

SCAM!!!!!

peace

SayNoToPistons 03-19-08 11:54 AM

Well... People do actually fall for it. The guys with Ferrari's, Lamborghini's, Bugatti Veyrons, etc etc. They wouldn't mind paying $10,000 for a detail job  .

Swissvax is all you need

Miata_mx5 03-19-08 12:49 PM

Swissvax is very good. Esp the Concourse or Smaragd.

25,000 dollar is the cost of 1 professional paint job for a ferrari. You get what you pay for. Take a look at what they consider "professional", and what you consider professional. Then you see the difference, you are not paying for their labor or materials. You are paying for their skill, experience, and knowledge.

It costs about 5000 dollars for the guy in the UK to do it. It is all in the marketing, because he is always busy.

I can charge/and have charged around 800-1000 for a full Undercarriage, engine, inside and full exterior on say a Ferrari F40 or Carrera GT. I just do not have the fancy websites, because i do not really promote it.

I, personally, never got into the Zymol hype. But i guarantee, they will have no problem selling it. After all, to become a Zymol dealer itself, you need to BUY their products, and PAY THEM gratitudes.

Swissvax is good stuff, but expensive, not 30k expensive but expensive none the less. I use VMG + nattys blue and for the price you cant beat the combo, looks like the paint is dripping off the car.

Sprockett 03-19-08 02:48 PM

Probably not such a bad deal for a guy who runs a high-end detailing business.

iheartthewankel 03-26-08 08:15 PM

being a detailer i know that this isnt worth it at all zymol isnt by far the best thing out there at all their scrath remover just fills in the scratch till next time you wash it then oops its back again your better off buying turtle wax or meguires product and your own highspeed buffer

Good stuff, but to people not every wax or sealant will give the best results. It varies from the color of car of course. I like p21s because its so easy to apply. :)

pinkrx7 03-28-08 04:42 PM

lol there are more expensive waxes than 30000

cptpain 06-12-09 09:44 AM

not only is the wax itself $30k... but you have to pay a yearly fee of $15k for some other BS i forgot about....

Some british detailer had some of the stuff and thought Swissvax Crystal Rock was much better. (It wasn't Paul Dalton.. he isnt that stupid)

I'll stick with the Dodo Juice line for beauty and good ole Collinite for longevity.

What color? What kind of look are you going for , want a glass finish or maximum depth? Do you want to apply it 1-2 times year or about every two months? There are to many variables and personal preferences.

I typically use a sealant (Klasse, Wolfgang, etc) for maximum/long term protection, it gives it a very nice glass like look, then I top it with a nice 100% Carnauba Wax (P21s, Fuzion, etc), which gives the finish nice depth, and added protection against caustic bug spatters and bird droppings. The combo I use depends on the car, color, and protection/look I am shooting for.

Check out Autopia or Autogeek forums, a ton of info there.
