Washing with peeling clear coat?

I have a question on how to go about cleaning my S4 rx7. I just bought the car and it is in need of a new clear coat. It's peeling now. I was curious besides just washing the car, what other things I could do to make it less visible. Waxing, buffing? Tips on how to go about washing the car so I don't make it worse? Thank you!

Don't rub it or it will get worse faster. You need a paint job.
