"Relay" Help

My FC vert is in need of several relays. A power antenna, and dimmer to be exact. I called one dealership, and after being on hold for 20 min.; was told "not available". Is this true? Is there another after market supplier? Or do I simply need to try another dealership with a more helpful parts department? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

if u havnt found some by now you could try your local junk yard. I pulled around 10 relays for about 3 bucks and they are the correct layout for the power antenna, not sure about the dimmer. Lots of cars have them in the fuse box under the hood and under the driver side dash.

+1 for junkyard though it can be hit or miss getting the proper pinout. I priced all of the relays through one of the local dealers and it was downright insane, averaging around $30 each. For this reason, I'm converting my car entirely to Bosch-type relays. Nothing is wrong with the old ones, I just despise propriety when there isn't a logical reason for it. If you want the old ones after I'm done, let me know and I'll hook you up on the cheap.

BTW, if you have a modern stereo, you'll have to use a relay to flip the trigger polarity so it talks to the antenna correctly. Doesn't require anything fancy, just a normal 4-pin relay. Details are in the Second Gen FAQ
