"rail dust" removal/prevention

sooo I've done some searching, but have come up with very little.

I work next to railroad tracks, like may be 20-30ft from them. car sits in the parking lot 40+ hours a week. I just bought a newer truck and it has no dust on it now, and I'm trying to keep it that way. I washed my previous truck twice a week for awhile and it didn't do anything, I was still clay baring it non stop and a week later back to sandpaper for paint, even using cleaners like "ironx" didn't really help....

I know how to remove it and can find plenty of "how tos" for that, but are there any products that help it from not burning into the clear and always having to clay it? I hate driving my 7 into work just because of that stuff destroying the finish.

any tips are appreciated this shit sucks.

well if anyone ever stumbles upon this thread, from what I've gathered is this

your screwed. I was told by a couple body shops today there is nothing that will prevent it from "burning" into the clear, it is what it is and just use "professional" grade products and not autozone waxes/sealers, or have it professionally detailed on a regular basis, and constantly wash.

Send your question to a company called Zaino Bros in NJ ... see what they say ... maybe they have a product or suggestion.

Is the car parked next to where the trains are braking? Or just generally going past?
