EVERYONE SUBSCRIBE to RXTuner magazine..

Alright guys..

I had a chance to talk to Ryan (Boostd 7), owner of this forum and RXTuner Magazine.

As you all know, this is the only rotary specific magazine in this country.

He needs help from us! (more info: https://www.rx7club.com/showpost.php...1&postcount=49)

I think what we need to do is we all need to subscribe to this magazine. For only $22 per year, its a one heck of a magazine.

Also, This years DGRR will be featured in future issues.

Help out this community by subscribe to RXtuner

Goto: www.RXtuner.com for more info

I was once a subscriber of rxtuner magazine. I never received my 12 issues. Since then I have never renewed the following year. I will subscribe when ever the mag gets it together. Until then I am happy just being a member here. :)

OMGWTHDRIFTGUY 03-23-06 07:11 PM

Is there an entrance fee for the deals gap event? Maybe jack the enty fee $22 and includfe a subsciption with registration.

SureShot 03-23-06 08:07 PM

I'm already a paid subscriber.
I got volume 2 issue 1 last week.
They are doing a quality job with limited capital.
More subscribers would certainly help.
We just have to patient with the production schedule.

i have the same issue too

Stanello 03-23-06 11:15 PM

I'm pretty sure everyone does, but it doesn't bother me a whole lot. I'm just glad that there is a rotary publication out there.

KnoxSe7eN 03-23-06 11:45 PM

I have a subscription so :)

Not a bad idea. Maybe next year you have to either provide proof of subscription or get one to enter DGRR event.

darthrotary 03-24-06 07:32 AM

i have a subscription, as proof what do i do, bring all my mags to the show?
i never had a problem waiting on a mag, my best friend works for a mag company and i know all about the problems with publishing and he works for a company with like 75 employees, i cant imagine just 2 guys tackling this themselves.

STREET RACING IS BAD MK 03-24-06 08:04 AM

should'nt your name be printed on the lower left side of the mag with your address. Just bring your I.D to verify.

Very true.

By the way, I was kidding on earlier post.

But we should all support RXtuner!

djmtsu 03-24-06 10:22 PM

I had a subscription. I got all of 1 issue. I won't subscribe again untill I get the other 11 I am OWED!

Sorry Phil. I need some sort of guarantee this time around.

What good is to have a rotary publication when you're unable to get the publication you paid for??

2nd that.

Herblenny 03-26-06 12:10 AM

By my understanding, you'll get what you paid for. For instance, if you signed up for 12 issues, you will get your 12 issues.

I was hoping people would understand the problem and want to help out the fellow rotary owners. RXtuner Magazine is made by 2 people. My understanding is that they have put over $5k of their own money to make it happen. Problem is, vendors who are suppose to pay didn't. And most of all writters are Rotary owners like us. I've written couple of articles in the past and so did some of the people I know.

I totally understand what Ryan is going thru... Last years Deals Gap event, I had to call one of the sponsoring vendor every week for almost 6 months for them to make their promised donation. And one point I was so frustrated, I was yelling at this particular owner over the phone at my job. I also had to put some of my own money into the event and spent great amounts of time putting things together. With all the frustration, time, money, etc.. I still decided to do it again because of the support of rotary communities and new vendors.

So, Please understand what these two hard working RXTuner guys are going thru and give your support. Without your support, magazine will end, and we'll loose another great thing that happened in Rotary world.

Herblenny 03-26-06 12:21 AM

Alright, This is what I'm going to do.

I'm going to set up a donation box for the RX7/RX8 Club and RXtuner.

We all use this forum so, please bring couple of dollars or so extra to this event. If you don't want to make the donation, thats fine..

All the money collected, someone will count and I'll send the paypal to Ryan.
I'm sure he will use it to upgrade hardwares or put it toward his magazine!

If everyone donates $2, we should raise around 300-400 dollars.

PureMdMa 03-26-06 11:20 AM

Yeah you guys need to subscribe, I just got my newest edition friday and I have some photos in it for the ALMS year end article. So support my way of being published.

Thanx
Jeremy

ROTORX7Holly 03-26-06 12:36 PM

Hopefully I will get my new issue soon. I haven't gotten an issue, since the beginning of this year. I renewed the end of last year for 2 years. So I'm paid up.

Holly

BuffDaddy915 03-26-06 03:34 PM

My uncle subscribed for me and him. He's gotten 1 issue and has givin it to me cuz I havn't gotten anything. But we are subscribed though. If I knew more rotary friends I'd nagg em.

golferfreddie 03-28-06 11:45 AM

I just signed up. Make sure you register with the site first to get the $22/year deal.

BOOSTD 7 03-30-06 11:53 AM

Any of you guys having problems getting your issues, you can't ask for support on here. I won't see it, and you won't get an answer. You need to use either the support Forum on www.rxtuner.com, or the support form to send a question. Or call 866-RX-TUNER (although they haven't been doing a good job either). That 866 number is a fulfilment house that's supposed to help people get missing issues, take subscription orders, etc. But their phone operators have been giving a lot of bad information lately - we're trying to work that out.

Phil brought up the donation idea, while I'm not all that comfortable asking for donations for the magazine, our paypal is brian@rxtuner.com

STREET RACING IS BAD MK 03-30-06 01:22 PM

Thanks for the great Mag and all your hard work!!!!

Herblenny 03-30-06 02:33 PM

Ryan,

I will collect donations and send it to your paypal account.

Thanks again for your hard work and support!

PHIL

Herblenny 04-10-06 06:06 PM

I just made a donation of $250 to Ryan Scott (owner of this forum and RXtuner magazine).

Once again, thank you so much for those of you who donated money for the forum and the magazine. Hope the money will help make this forum a better place and also help create more magazine in the future!

PHIL

BOOSTD 7 04-11-06 12:17 PM

Wow, what a nice gesture Phil ... I don't know what to say :sniff:

Just when I start thinking there's no point of going on :)

Please tell me you got the box of 100 mags in time for the event!
