Welcome to NEW DGRR Site!! Its UP AND RUNNING!!!

Please check out the NEW and improved DGRR site!!

http://www.dealsgaprotaryrally.com/

First of all, I need to thank Bryan Conn (reddozen) for making the site and getting it running. He is the MAN when it comes to websites!!! Thanks Bryan!

Now, what's new on the site..

-The biggest thing we implemented is the forum. Now people can chat at one place vs. all different forums. This also helps when you meet fellow enthusiasts at the event and chat on the forum until next year's event.

-Vendor/Sponsor sub forums. Vendors and Sponsors can run a Group buy and now they can advertise specific items and also support their products on DGRR. Like I always said, without their support, DGRR wouldn't be possible. So, please support those who support DGRR vs. some other vendors.

-DGRR Store. This is to sell DGRR related products... such as DGRR event video, DGRR previous event shirts, decals, etc..

-Lastly, easier navigation of the site...

So, please sign up for DGRR 2012 and join the new DGRR community!!!

Thanks!

Phil

Sweet. Just registered...waiting on activation email.

I registered for the forum too. The home page looks like it still has a few errors though, looks like only half of the content and formatting are loading and not all the links work. I tried registering for the event and when I clicked add guest it brought up a popup window which was all grayed out and I could do anything at that point...

yea, I broke something... lol
we got it fixed though.

Let me know if you find any more issues.

I still haven't gotten my auth email for registering on the forum...anyone else?

reddozen 12-03-11 10:53 PM

i fixed some issues with the email authentication. use the resend activation email link on the left banner of the forums under the login box to have it resent. it should go through this time.

let me know if it's still not working. I got mine instantly when i tested it eariler after fixing it.

same here.

reddozen 12-04-11 12:43 AM

forum registration you'll need to resend the authentication email. I had to fix some issues with the forums mail functions.

You can resend the conf email for the forums by clicking on the "Resend activation e-mail" on the left menu of the forums under the login boxes.

For the resort code, there is an option in the registration drop down to recover it using your paypal email.

After clicking resend auth email it came right away and I was able to log in to the forum. I'm still having a problem with registering for the event, when I click "add guest" another screen comes up asking for their info, but it is all grayed out, as is the main screen behind it and I'm basically stuck at that point. Am I missing something??

the background is supposed to be grayed out until you close out the guest menu.
the guest window is grayed out too? what web browser are you using?

Initially was using IE7 and it grays everything out (see screenshot) but Firefox seems to be working so I'll use that.

reddozen 12-06-11 10:24 AM

very strange... I'll look into that

Edit:
Seems to work fine in IE8 with no javascript errors etc...

82transam 12-06-11 10:53 AM

That is weird... I have to use IE7 at work because one of the systems we use always freezes up in IE8 (yeah we're behind the times a bit lol) otherwise I would have IE8 on this machine... I guess I'm the only one that came across this so far? Seems to work fine in firefox though so no big deal.
