Feelers: Nantahala cabin available
 

Looks like paint and body is not going to be finished with my car in time for the rally. One BR cabin reserved for the 26th or 27th, checking out on the 30th (Mon.). I'm going to call the resort and verify the date and the type of cabin, and to see what options I have, and I'll post back. As I said just putting out feelers for those looking last minute for a place to stay.

There always are people needing a cabin! NVNC is cool with letting you transfer it to another person. Note that since you put a down payment on the cabin that the person getting the cabin will need to reimburse you for that.

Nantahala village cancelled my reservation. Not sure if they have a waiting list, or just knew they could fill it quickly, but as of yesterday a 1 br cabin is available. Several folks pm'd me about it right off the bat so I'm guessing its probably spoken for by now.
