DGRR 2012 Update - About the lodge..
I was notified by NVNC that they are completely booked!!
This means that those of you registering needs to book else where... Luckily, we have decent alternatives... Here is what NVNC has set up for us DGRR 2012 attendees... We have contacted the following accommodations in the area, all within 10 minutes of the Village. The following companies are good alternatives to the Nantahala Village for the April 19-22 Mazda Deal’s Gap Rotary Rally: 1. MicroTel of the Great Smoky Mountains which is 6 miles from the Village just off the four lane at the Bryson City exit 67. They are offering the Thursday night free to anyone with the 2012 DGRR registration code. Their telephone number is 828-488-7900 http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e7...y/image001.gif 2. Watershed luxury log homes which have cabins different distances from the Village, you would just need to ask. They are offering the Thursday night free to anyone with the 2012 DGRR registration code. Their telephone number is 888-604-3075. http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e7...y/image002.gif Sleep Inn in Bryson City is 7 miles from the Village, take the Bryson City exit 67 off the four lane and it will be 1 mile on the left going toward Bryson City. They are offering a 10% discount for your stay to anyone with the 2012 DGRR registration code. Their telephone number is 828-488-0326 http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e7...y/image003.gif This year is turning out to be a great year with great cars attending. |
guys.... i HIGHLY recommend Watershed cabins... stayed there last year, and they are very well accommodated and a great value.
i just booked this one for the event, http://watershedcabins.com/cabin-det...one-ridge.html just make sure when you search their available cabins, you check the "motorcycle friendly" box, that means the road to the cabin is paved. last year i didnt know that, and ended up going offroading in my FD to get to it, haha. |
called the microtel twice to get the rates and was told I had to speak to a manager so I left my number. Ended up getting on price line and got the room for 59 which was awesome because once the manager called it was 99 a night.
If that helps anyone |
Priceline FTMFW! I booked 3 nights @ $56 a nite. See you there Chad.
