Do we have a block of rooms like we did in the past? I PM'd Phil but he didn't respond.

Don't know. The person I spoke with said the organizers and vendor sponsors had all the cabins reserved. Phil?

For those of you that haven't attended before and are on the fence, do not hesitate to do this. Best rotary event on the east coast period. Beautiful mountains, great twisty roads with awesome views, and the most varied rotary cars you will see. It's a blast every year.

Register now!

Phil, can you please check with the Inn and see what's up with the cabin reservations? They claim they are all gone and I called one hour after registration opened. Said all the sponsors had them reserved. Maybe some have overbooked and can be released? Thanks!

I'm still waiting to hear what the deal is with reserving rooms at the inn before I register. Do we have a block set aside or no?

the entire resort is ours to book. david said that the vendors reserved all of the cabins already.

there arent that many vendors so just confirm that the rooms in the lodge are booked as well.

just call them.

I just called and they have 4 rooms left in the INN. no cabins left so I am assuming some people booked early.

You are supposed to register before you book your room. I would assume these will be booked by the weekend.

I had tried to book a room the day of registration and was asked for the code and was unable to get a room unless I had the code. I needed to call back to make the reservation.

When I spoke to the lady she said they were filling up quickly. Some cabins (single bed) were available the day of registration others were already filled.

Where is the best place to stay if not in the cabins? I would guess if its filled up this fast there must be other place(s) that people stay?

The Microtel is a nice hotel about 5~10 min down Hwy 19 (the road the lodge is on). I stayed there 3 or 4 years ago. very nice and reasonably priced. Think it cost my like $160 for 3 nights, and it's right down the road from just about any food you could want since it's actually in Bryson City city limits.

I updated the site a little.

Added an "Event Info" section to the links.

Could you check the "Who's Attending?" sections? They are missing since the update. I always like to see who's coming and from where.

Just tried to register and it failed. There was no question at the bottom for the
spam bot stuff and when I clicked submit it responded with a permissions error
on some directory.

Now my id (t_g_farrell) is in there but its not active and I can't login. Help?
Looked for an email to activate the account but didn't see anything.

I was using Google Chrome but it seems the same with Firefox as well.
