FC parts CorkSport is looking at building

Here are a few items CorkSport is looking at building. Please note these parts are prototypes and they are not available and might not ever be available.

FC Charge Pipe. This part replaces the rubber elbow and short pipe out of the turbo to the intercooler.

Charge Pipe

FC Turbo inlet pipe. This is a piece people have asked us to look into making. The tough part is really getting the part to work with a stock airbox due to the bends.

nice keep the FC parts flowing

I'm down for the TID! That is WORLDS better than the old Banzai one, and infinitely better than the ghetto one I made with Spectre parts. Please make it an option to eliminate the factory BOV fitting though.

Name a price. If you decide NOT to manufacture it, would you consider selling the prototype to me??

Keep up the good work! I hope you're continued investment into FC products is profitable :)

both products look great. I would buy them both.

RockLobster 09-12-08 09:14 AM

My only comment would be. Ensure these are kits that will include silicon hose couplers and good quality stainless steel t-bar clamps.

Because one of the main reasons to mess with these areas of the car for mostly stock or mildly modified FCs is to replace all the old rubber.

Dugwillis84 09-15-08 04:38 PM

I'd take the TID. Especially if it could come without the emissions plugs.

Brody8877 09-15-08 04:52 PM

TID n the charge pipe sounds promising. I would be interested definitely

trust7 11-22-08 04:23 AM

Tid is the way to go if its one of the two, greddy/hks/blitz all make turbo to IC pipes if you buy their BOV kit. Hard to compete I think with 99.00- 149.00 bov+pipe kits.

I would love to have that TID though.

SirCygnus 11-25-08 08:52 AM

how about having different flanges for different bolt on BOV's on that charge pipe?

CorkSport 11-26-08 10:03 AM

Just a quick update on these two parts for everyone,

The TID has gone through its second revision. We have to do another test fit and start production is all goes well. I would guess 2-3 months until it is ready.

The charge pipe will be ready late Jan early Feb. Retail price will be about $80 on it. We will give an option of installing different BOV flanges on the pipe if people want them.

group buy on TID???????

Project88Turbo 12-08-08 07:02 AM

I'm still interested in the TID :)

what are we looking at price wise on the TID??? are you planning on doing any color options?

AmviciousRav 01-15-09 03:03 AM

damn any updates?

solareon 01-15-09 05:08 AM

on that TID. could there be an option for a 3 inch outlet to the turbo? That way people with BNR turbos could still use stock like airbox placement

Project88Turbo 01-20-09 06:47 AM

^ I second that, as I just picked up a hybrid turbo myself.

I can't remember which, but one of these parts on my car currently has a bung held on with JB-Weld. I'd probably be down for a replacement. But, it looks like both of them will be made, so that's good news.

MIDWESTSTYLE 01-27-09 05:30 PM

any update????

CorkSport 05-12-09 05:07 PM

Here is the newest pre-production part. Getting this TID to be perfect is proving to be a challenge.

I dont think that will be a problem.

Ro7aryInfect3d 05-14-09 02:03 PM

very nice, good work corksport!

solareon 05-14-09 03:42 PM

maybe instead of have a welded together pipe a cast pipe might be easier? Also any thoughts on a 3 inch inlet to the turbo?

CorkSport 05-15-09 06:36 PM

We are looking at doing a cast version of the pipe. I am not sure about a full 3 inch version though.

CorkSport 06-05-09 02:17 PM

I should have an update on a cast version of the TID in the next week or so. If the price seems decent we will get a pre-production piece made and see how it works.
