WTF happened to my smilies!!

whenever i send pm or post or start a new thread i use to have an excellent smilie selection. all of a sudden i got stupid, crazy smilies to work with. how can i edit so i have my old simple ones to choose from again? please help. who's bright idea was it to change them anyway. ( here i would end in a roll eyes smilie but i dont want to spend a minute looking for him.. damnit)

Alex-7 10-21-05 05:51 PM

Whoa, Those are some GHEY new smiles.

All the old ones are still there, just click "more" on the bottom left part of the smile box................

WTF?
:celebrate

:69:
:ylsuper:

?

Midwest 7's 10-21-05 06:14 PM

i know there still there, but they are a bitch to get to.. something must be done about this major problem.

Alex-7 10-21-05 06:26 PM

Yes, I would say that people are going to use the thumbs up smile more often than the "69ing" smile...........................

Pele 10-21-05 11:01 PM

I'd prefer the smilies referecne to be completely off of the reply page and just give me the WYSIWYG editor. Leave the basic smilies and have the "More" button.

Too many animated GIF files on the screen screws up my browser.

FDNewbie 10-21-05 11:44 PM

Some of 'em are cool, but I don't know how we can survive w/o this smiley: http://www.supraforums.com/forum/ima.../worthless.gif and http://www.supraforums.com/forum/ima...ilies/eek2.gif

Oh yea...and the smileys that pop up on the right of the reply box are wayyy too big. They're making me have to scroll right and left across the screen...

lol i like the new options.

but.... the "error" greddy ex.dll one needs to come off the first set that is shown on the advanced reply screen... it is causing the reply box to be hell small and cause the screen to be bigger then my screen can display. scrolling left and right due to one huge ass smily is silly... move that one back on the list and everything should be ok.

Midwest 7's 10-24-05 08:09 PM

bump, please someone tell me why my smilies are gone. i have lost an important part of my communication. ( sad face. )

Pele 10-24-05 11:00 PM

Can the obscene smilies be removed from teh main reply page so that they are not readily accessable when at a workplace or family environment?

I'm not opposed to them, but someone reading over my shoulder might be.

Also, again with the animated GIF's problem...

Set it back to the way it was with the standards over to the right, and click "More" for the lesser used ones.

Probably not paying attention. That facial cumshot smilie sits prominently center screen on a widescreen monitor and the "Party Time!" smilie stretches the text box off screen on a standard monitor.

fcfanatic 10-29-05 01:03 AM

^I agree whole-heartedly.

Midwest 7's 11-01-05 11:02 AM

i think im about to start pm'ing mods.

rynberg 11-03-05 01:04 AM

Mods have nothing to do it, at least us peon ones don't...:)

Midwest 7's 11-03-05 05:05 PM

if mods dont control the smilies who does?

adictd2b00st 11-04-05 03:42 PM

i believe that would fall onto the administrator, because it has to be added thru the vbb code?

Midwest 7's 11-07-05 05:05 PM

not only are the new smilies gay, they are also quite offensive.

Midwest 7's 11-13-05 12:27 PM

:whogives:

when i became a member of this forum i remember reading something about not using vulger or offensive language......... the forum is setting a wonderful example. {roll eyes}

looks like someone is on our side and fixed this problem.
now.... how about putting smilies in the box that are actually useful, examples; thumbs up, happy face, roll eyes, you know, expresions people really use.
thanks.

Alex-7 11-17-05 12:09 PM

Fuck fuck fuck fuck bitch cunt whore spic nigger ass!

Midwest 7's 11-26-05 10:26 PM

Midwest 7's 12-06-05 04:14 PM

somebody post that they really like the new smilies.

garlandrx7 12-07-05 11:26 AM

seriously, when i post a reply (not a quick reply but an actual post reply there are no smilies, no link or anything like that... whered they go?

Midwest 7's 12-12-05 09:27 PM

^^^^^^^^^^^^
searching for the right smilie all the time sucks. please put the original simple ones back as the ones that come up in the box. again, i have lost an important part of my online communication.

Stanello 12-12-05 11:57 PM

I agree. Please put the "normal" smilies back in the box on the reply page. I am not opposed to the new smilies, I would just like to have the more commonly used ones on the reply page instead of having to look for them.

Thanks, Jacob
