What happened to the 'FD Aluminum INTERIOR Door Handle !' thread?

Title says it all...

Icemark 03-24-09 05:51 PM

It is being restarted. It was lost due to a server issue.

BizarroTerl 03-24-09 05:52 PM

Ouch! Did that get the entire Group Buy Interest section?

Icemark 03-24-09 05:56 PM

No, just a half dozen of odd threads throughout the board. I suspect it was in the back up done; since they all happened around the same time and had a similar last time post stamp in them.

I thought Kevin had abandoned that thread. Or was there another one?

Icemark 03-25-09 10:11 AM

Maybe he did, but I didn't see that it was closed or deleted on purpose.

Icemark,
What does restarted mean? Restored from backup or the original poster has to start a new thread? I don't see it in the GB area and a search returns nothing....

Hey guys, Jeremy "RotorMotor2" from Larson's Rotary Performance (LRP) asked me to post for him. His account and the door handle thread were deleted because of some kind of screw up by internet brands. Also he was not happy with the original sand cast aluminum door handle so he is going to be remaking it with a 3D laser scanner and in general rethinking some of the manufacturing to make sure the part is the highest quality possible. But the handle WILL still be made for certain, just the issue with the forums has to be worked out and it's taking longer than originally hoped.

Cool, thanks for the update, I was wondering what happened to that too.
