PLEASE PLEASE fix the 500 character count for signatures!!!
 

I don't know if you guys are doing this on purpose, or if its just overlooked. When you're creating text for signatures, it is including VB code and URLs as character counts. Some links I would like to put in my signature are very long php links and what not. My signature isn't that long.

Can you fix this, or increase the character count?

It's done on purpose to limit the length of signatures.

If you need more than 500 characters it's not a sig, it an essay.

Did any of you actually read his post? He doesn't want to make a sig longer than 500 characters, he wants to make it so his ginormous links don't get included in that count.

Yes I actually read it and I actually comprehend the question. Everything inside this box I'm typing in counts towards the character count. There is no way to make the software tell the difference. If you type it in here, it counts.

If someone really needed the extra room for lengthy URL addresses I would put a link in my sig that links to my garage here on the site. In my garage I could then add all the other links that can't fit within the sig limits.
