New posts function not working

It either plain doesn't work, or brings up just new posts. Doesn't bring up the drop down to let me pick "my posts" or "my threads"

DrKillJoY Jan 30, 2009 02:42 PM

might need to clear your cache...it is working in general.

ITSWILL Jan 31, 2009 09:40 AM

I am having the same problem and I cleared everything. I am using firefox.

DrKillJoY Jan 31, 2009 10:35 AM

Classic' - What browser and version are you using?

ITSWILL - What browser version are you using?

sunburn Jan 31, 2009 10:56 AM

I'm using FF same problem.

latest version.

DrKillJoY Jan 31, 2009 10:58 AM

What version?

SLOASFK Jan 31, 2009 11:08 AM

I'm using Internet explorer 7

I found the function just now though - you have to click in between "search" and "quick links" and then a HUGE drop down list appears. Don't know if that's how you guys want it or not though

ITSWILL Feb 1, 2009 07:38 AM

its firefox 3.0.5

I also have internet explorer 7 and it doesn't work for that either.

sunburn Feb 1, 2009 07:53 AM

I'm on firefox 3.0.5 and running Vista (I know) Home edition

FDNena Feb 1, 2009 10:11 PM

it is working for me but I cannot view only my subscribed threads...I have tried using all of my broswers on both my Mac and PC

Christopher W. Feb 2, 2009 03:05 PM

I also cannot access the new post function. I am using FF 3.0.5 with Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 3.

MyRedFD Feb 2, 2009 09:47 PM

Same thing here. Before the recent software install I would get a drop down list when clicking on New Post like it should, but I don't get that anymore. Nothing happens when I click on it now.

Christopher W. Feb 3, 2009 06:34 AM

I hope someone is getting to this. The new post function is the function I use the most on this forum. Without this function working I am finding myself losing interest in checking in...

FearNoPiston Feb 4, 2009 11:17 AM

me too^

Christopher W. Feb 5, 2009 06:51 AM

DrKillJoy, I would like to know if this is being addressed?

Is this a high or low priority?

It is of a very high priority to me in regards to this forum. My RX7Club surfing enthusiasm is taking a big hit.

Just looking for some kind of response from the mods or admin...

Thanks, C

ITSWILL Feb 6, 2009 04:44 AM

Yeah, I am hardly on the forum any more, its weird. For the most part I just get on and see if this has been fixed then get off once I realize that, it is still messed up.

NJGreenBudd Feb 7, 2009 01:37 AM

it works if u click between "search" and "quick links", huge drop down menu as previously noted. i must say that w/o the "my post" function i have a much harder time using the forum, hard to access the topics i'm interested in.

Christopher W. Feb 7, 2009 09:26 AM

Damn, I need to read better.. I was trying to click between the New Post and Search. I did just try between Search and Quick Links and it does work. Actually, it is just the quick links button. I don't know about having to click between them.

Odd place to put it but as long as it works I am much happier. :)

HotRodMex Feb 9, 2009 10:23 PM

I'm glad I'm not the only crazy one who misses the "my posts" function.

Do we still not have a reason? If it's working for the admins, what browser are you using?

ITSWILL Feb 9, 2009 10:39 PM

I have tried three different browsers and none worked, I am fairly convinced it is some sort of user setting.

Sorry guys, I've been away for a week.

I just checked it in 3 browsers.. it works. You guys need to clean out your caches or something I think.

FWIW - It's not an admin thing either.. I checked it with my wife's account and her's works fine too.

MattG Feb 10, 2009 12:20 AM

Holy crap, I never knew about that before, but mine isnt working also. I will try things to get it to work and keep it updated

ITSWILL Feb 10, 2009 06:50 AM

I have cleared the shit out of my cache, and it doesn't work on mozilla IE or even on safari on my Iphone.

FearNoPiston Feb 10, 2009 01:24 PM

yup I have not come across a computer that it works on...work, home or friends.

my login is not being saved either..dunno if that is related.
