You can't edit a post after 30 minutes. What were you looking to edit? Myself or another mod should be able to make changes to your post (if needed).

thanks for the info and quick response. wanted to initially edit a WTB post saying that i found the part, but went ahead and responded via another post. thanks again.

That's usually the best way to do it. Generally, we don't like to edit FS threads as if there is a problem later, it can be difficult to prove what the ad originally said. For FS/WTB threads, it is usually best to just add a new post with an update (updated prices, what has been sold, etc.).

You should be able to also close your own threads in the classifieds (scroll up, click on "Thread Tools", and there should be an option to close the thread). This is also a good way to let people know that you found the part (for WTB) or everything has been sold (for FS).

For anything else, you can PM a mod in that section and let him know what you need. :)

much thanks. this is the first time i've seen this implemented in a forum and actually like it a lot. i like the idea of keeping the history especially for the FS threads, not only for tracking problems but also helping research purposes on how much things sold for. keep up the good work mods!
