Difference of Opinion thread

why do you have to ask permission to get into the d.o.o. section? you should allow anyone to go in, just put a warning on not work safe (nws) content.

I just dont understand how people are nominated in the first place. Is it supposed to be some sort of elite section of the forums?

yes. Too ban noone is allowed in anymore. You don't want to go in there anyways. Most people can't form or write coherent arguments for anything on the regular sections of the forum and I wouldn't expect anyone else to be able to hold their own in the DOO. Blame it all on YZF-R1 and all 30 of his pseudonyms.

we should have a simple questionaire to see if you're allowed to go in:

1. what do you think of our current domestic policies?

2. what is your stance with immigration?

3. how do you feel about our foreign policies?

etc.,etc. until 10 questions are posted.

If you can't write a simple paragraph explaining each question you should stick to the one liner threads in the lounge. Merciless isn't accepting any more people anyways so it would be a waste of time anyways. I've noticed that the majority of people there are either UBER conservatives with askewed views on our country, economy and social problems that we're plauged with. If the DOO user is not an uber conservative then he's an uber liberal douche that can't argue worth crap and ends up getting owned by the conservatives and the few smart people that don't fall into either retarded category.
