Fred's not the best, he built my fc engine, took like 6 months, and even then the engine wasnt running right so he had to take it apart again and the bearings were knocking... so he had to take it all apart now etc... i wouldnt trust freddy worth a ****, he's a rip off, and i hope you read this fred. So i got fed up with the car, sold it to someone and the engine blew because he left the cas 180 degrees out and blew all the seals, and he stated it wasnt his fault and never warrntied the engine.. when he did build it, it was still smoking and couldnt fix it... i thought he was a good rotary tech myself thats why i took there in the first place but ended up getting fucked... I had a red turbo 2, with to4, greddy intercooler, power fc etc...
Bump for freds low prices, he does know lots IMO, maybe just not so good at rebuilds... Having said that, Im not taking my new FD to see him!

He is a good mechanic but also does lot of Bone head moves... my buddies fc had the engine replaced, and it never ran right at all!! fred took it apart after the 4000 mark only to find that the sputtering smoking motor was infact ruined like we assumed.. and not "it will stop once its broken in" he actually warranteed the work required becasue the reason the engine took a **** was because fred cracked his oil lines.. so one summer waisated waiting for fred to do the engine, second summer waisted driving a car with a Bran new blown engine, third summer (got the motor direct from the boys in calgary) and everything is cool now but unfortunatly he has to break it in which means another summer of waiting to really see how his new engine feels!!! dont ask my friend what he thinks about Fred's service...

but on another note... he actually knows so much about these cars its scarry.. ive known him for a long time 6 years actually very good mechanic nice person and will always give you that extra help at no charge..

hi everyone have 1st gen with low kms park for 17 years got it back on the road on fri june 23 07 nice by the way anybody know where i can find a org. radio and cass. deck . that would be okay to have a meet. am in .

lol. only two in Winnipeg with Kosei's. Alex's and mine. Anyways. any 1st gen guys have a 12a with a Holley intake by chance? I'm having some problems diagnosing my drving problems...lol was wondering if we could do a quick carb switcheroo.... But I'm pretty sure nobody does... ah welll.... PM me if I'm wrong!
