so damn hard to find a nice clean LHD FD in this province. Even harder when my fiancee is watching....

 

All the good ones are still being kept by their owners.

 

Yeah that seems to be my problem - I dont want to have to import one from the US, but I just might not have any other option.

I'm on my 4th Z, I think I might want something different. I've always had such a soft spot for the FD

 

I'm down for an RX7 track day as long as it does not interfere with other track days.

Ive been thinking about hosting a meet for a couple years now. I have ample space and am 35 mins away from mosport .... was thinking sat afternoon meet (bbq and beers) sunday track day if we could get it setup.

Ya, I heard about it too, the Ertefa meet on Thursday.....

 

On the advice of a wise grey-haired man, we're going to try to organize the meet during a time attack event so that those who want track time can do so, and those who want to have a fun get together can watch some fast cars on the track as well. Also this will allow the members whose cars aren't street legal anymore to attend if they wish. Lastly, the date will obviously be set in stone rather than trying to please everybody by switching dates around 14 times - it's worked better this way in the past.
If we get an okay from the time-attack organizers we'll post an official thread.

The new location for that meet is literally a 30 second drive down the street from where I work. The problem is that most guys don't stay out past midnight. And I don't get off work until midnight.

I like the idea about the BBQ and beers though! If everyone brought some time of food and or beverage or something like that. I know M&M's meat product are amazing and they're everywhere! I'd be down to bring some wings or burgs or somethin'!
