Sweetie Girl Racing Charity Car Wash

Hey Everybody,

My name's Melissa and I'm a part of Sweetie Girl Racing, Canada's
first all female show and race team. If any of you are free this Sunday
July 23rd, we are holding our 4th annual Charity Car Wash. New new for
this year, a DYNO day! Details below!

Even if you dont want your car washed (by some hot ladies) just stopping
by and donating some money would be great. We are just 10 minutes off the
highway from another Car Club event @ U of T. More details at
www.sweetiegirlracing.com.

Dyno runs will be available from Pac1one if you are interested at $80 for
4 runs: 2 dyno pulls and 2 quarter mile runs. Preference will be given to
those who pre-register for the dyno. Participants must have payment ready
and all the waiver forms completed before their turn on the Dyno. If you
would like to REGISTER FOR THE DYNO for the event please send an email to
tech [at] sweetiegirlracing.com.

Please keep in mind that this is a FUN charitable event. There will be no
tolerance for unacceptable behaviour in ANY way. All proceeds will go
towards the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. This year their goal is to
raise $1500 from our event. A strong turnout will be key for SGR to raise
our donation goal this year. So come out and support us for cancer free
breasts! =)

this sounds like a great cause, and even better opportunity to see scantily clad women with bubbles and water.

how much for a sport bike wash?
please attach pictures of the single ladies who will be attending...

thanks
Leigh

Wow, a Canadian All-girls race and show team, a carwash for a good cause and a dyno pull.

What could be better?

I'm more than 5hrs away and if the rex was on the road, you bet your *** I'd make the drive down.

53 is an odd number, I must have been number 53

I was the moist one that rode in on my honda bike!! wow was it ever wet.

it's a shame we got there after the nice sunshine was replaced by rain.

we hope to visit you ladies at the next event this season. keep us posted.
thanks

I was glad I was warned before I checked this post haha.....neways it was great to meet you guys yesterday. Even through the rain we had a great turnout. Did you guys miss the vette on the dyno?? That was the highlight of my day!!!!! Thanks for coming out and supporting a great cause. We almost reached our goal and would have achieved it if it didnt rain but we will definatley be doing it again soon. We will be at CSCS in Grand Bend this weekend as well so if anyone else is there, swing by the booth and say hi!

It was a great day at Pacione automotive, other than I have carbon monoxide posioning fron running the cars on the dyno! The Vette was a 2002 Z06 with a modifed small block. The owner told me it was a 427 Cu In big block, but when we opened the hood it was definetly a small block. If it was a 427, it was a stroked 350 LS6 motor. Anyway it put down 479 RWHP. The for the 1/4 mile it spun the rear tires tied down on the dyno 1st through 3rd gear before it hooked up, and still ran a 13.46 1/4 mile.

Just wanted to send a BIG THANKS to everyone who came out and supported the girls. Due to the weather, we were only able to keep the car wash till 1pmish, until the storm hit us in Pickering. Otherwise, we managed to raise about $500 for the our SGR Team for the CBCF Run for the Cure in October. Thanks for being so patient with the weather and the dyno! We had 7 cars pre-registered, and the remaining dyno spots were filled by noon! We ended up putting a total of 13 cars and didn't finish until 8pm. What a crazy day!!

I had lots of fun on the dyno. None of the Pacione guys wanted to sit in my bucket seat (too small) so I ended up doing myself. The quarter mile configuration is pretty nerve wracking though... I red lighted at .49 twice and got so frustrated with the tree. I saw a lot of "red mist." In the end, I pulled a decent time that was about half second off the track.

Here are the results!
Fastest Reaction Time: 0.51s
Driver - Haig P,
Prizes - $40 cash prize,
- 2 complimentary 2006 CSCS spectator passes

Fastest 60 ft: 1.57s
Driver - Raj M, Skyline GTR
Prizes - $40 cash prize
- 1 complimentary 2006 CSCS race pass
- 1 complimentary2006 CSCS spectator pass

Fastest Quarter: 13.46s
Driver - Tommy P, Z06 Corvette
Prizes - $40 cash prize
- 1 complimentary 2006 CSCS race pass
- 1 complimentary 2006 CSCS spectator pass

Pics will be added to our gallery ASAP. If you would like to join us for the Run for the Cure on Oct 1, or make an online donation to Team SGR, check out more details HERE

Thanks to all the SGR members and volunteers who helped put this event together. Much love to Pacione, Meguiars, CSCS, Vibrant for their support and everyone who came out!!

We will be at the CSCS Extreme Tuner Show @ TMP next Sat Aug 19th. A few girls will be 'repping the circuit track, drag strip & show 'n' shine competition. Come by and say hi!
