I want to. But I did not pay attention to this lapping day and at the very least did not know that, that many people (Forum members) were going so I did not book the day off at work. I have been bugging the "powers" that be and no luck so far. I may be lucky and jet early and just hoof it down for around 3pm.

Plus I canceled my race oil cooler in a fit of rage. Putting the car on the track I would do two laps at a time (250°C oil temps)

Makes me wonder what others temps really are since I I figure most do not run an oil temp gauge anyhow.

That sounds great, Ottawa guys we should meet at IKEA parking lot at 630 am .

its aprox a 210 km drive , so 2 hours or a tad less.

 

Yeah we could do that... Around what time? I think the tech inspections at shannonville begin around 7am.

Frank and Azad maybe you guys could meet up at my house then we will head there or soemthing?

Nik is now in. As for inspections, there wont be any formal inspections. I trust that everyone has an idea as to what they are doing, and will make sure that there are no leaks, or loose bolts (eg. lug nuts). I'll be there around 8:30am, and you guys are all free to call me at 416-838-2483 if you guys have any problems.

Thanks for organizing this great event!

Race car is doing well, this definately helped us sort out things before the big race at mosport next weekend.

 

Had a great day...Thanks for organizing the day Chris, It was also nice to meet all you Ottawa guys and girl....Your all a bunch of good people......A total of 6 RX7s showed very well all-day long, the most I've seen at a track day....Some body should set-up a track day meet.....anybody willing?
