RPM Motorsports
Hey there fellow Canucks. In honour of Joe's move to his new shop, we thought that we would help him re-brand RPM. Here is a logo/brand idea that we are playing with. What do you guys think?

you need a new thread :D
Post that question in the 2nd generation specific forum above and some people will be able to help you, there's lots of diagrams and ways to do that swap. |
The avatar he's using looks much more effective

I think the new logo is a good marketing ploy. WE all know its a Rotary Shop, but with that logo, he can generate more buisiness with general fabrication of parts for most automotive applications, not just rotary to the unsuspecting consumer.

Isn't that what small business is all about? |

it might look nicer if the motorsports word didnt make it look off-centered. kinda like this:
|
I doubt most piston heads would have even realized that the current logo contains a rotor, or that a triangular symbol has anything to do with rotary engines.
|
Keep the original!

You pretty much hit the nail on the head, since we in a much higher rent area we cant just work on rotaries only....we'd definatly go out of business. We have a freind of ours working for us part time that know's more than enough about Hondas, Nissans, Toyotas ect. I will be kept busy enough focusing on the rotary projects anyways lol. I can't specialize in everything!! We have already moved from Walkerton and are getting setup in the new shop, which is HUGE by the way! We aren't really open just yet, we have alot of setting up to do and I want to get a few projects we have on the go out the door. |
Shop looks good Joe,
saw it on friday. lots of room to grow Good Luck ...... and keep that couch in the shop area for the rotary customers !! |
Next time my buddy has a problem with his Corolla I'll send him your way, hehehe.
One mechanic says his head gasket is leaking, another can't find anything wrong with it... |
I once had a mechanic who told me my 7's head gasket was leaking....
Thank God I'm not that stupid. I reamed him for it. Congrats on the new shop Joe, but I'm with the guys who say keep the old avatar, since pistonheads probably won't know enough to notice it, or take offense by it. Jon |
