can any one find out how tall it is from the ground to the roof, it seems to be quite low. look at the guys in the picture, I d say most of those guys are not 6ft and the roof line seems to be about waist high and the person taking the picture had to be kneeling down. It has such high wheel arches because the center is very low. It seems to put your eyes at about fender hieght looking out the windshield. Not even close to anything that would go to production , but someone has been very busy dreaming up this machine. Maybe that team can keep on dreaming until they have taken the next 7 from paper to the real streets ... anyone notice the 7 on the front fenders.... doesn't mean anything they might just like that number , Right.

It's not designed to be a production vehicle, it's more of a PR vehicle and a statement of racing heritage and direction.

^ yes I know. I was not saying that because I thought it may have a chance at production. I agree with you, that it is a pr move to flex a little muscle. anyone can clearly see that from the photos.

i personally think that they will combine production aspects of this car and direct them the the new rx-8 to compete with the new GTR. some special model like the rx-8 GTX or something like that.

MAZDA FURAI (A.K.A. --> Batmobile!!)

http://www.autoblog.com/2007/12/27/m...ver/1#comments

Ya I know we had a thread before about the Furai, but here's a link for more pics on the upcoming rotary powered beast for those who haven't kept up with the news. I saw this at work and seriously "lol" because its so badass and looks just like how I imagine the Batmobile should be. This is also the first concept from Mazda that I absolutely love.

Anyways lets cross our fingers for good reviews from reports at the Detroit Autoshow next year Jan. 13-14

Here is another article I saw:

I have already started saving for it. If it doesnt come out I might just have to buy the prototype.

That's not a 7, it's a arrow. Probably pointing to the tow hook location. The number 55 is on the car referencing the 787B LeMans winner.

Your right it's just part of the Kumho Tires logo. It's just ridiculously oversized compare to how it's normaly seen.

Thanks for pointing that out.
