This is happening to you? Is that something that happens out of the blue?

BC Bench Magic

My local mechanic had the interest to take my cluster apart and re-solder the Tach connections. Worked well for about a year, but has started bouncing around again; Usually when it is cold and damp.

Bench Magic in Langley/Surrey B.C. has worked on FD clusters before. I plan to take some to them shortly to get assessed.

One concern is always of breaking trim plastics when pulling the cluster. Therefore I am living with my bouncey tach and relying on the Power FC controller read-out instead. Until I accumulate enough spare trim plastics.

Started last year. It starts as soon as the car warms up.

as soon as car is warmed up well mine bounces. bad caps and resistors on the tach board. would love to take this somewhere and see what can be done as i have a spare. apparently its just a matter of de-soldering and re-soldering the failed caps/ resistors. if i find someone i will post up.....

How did the clusters turn out? Happy with their work and prices? Need to send mine out this winter and looking at options now.
