well looks like i wont make the summer meet, my 323 died on me this week so i used my drive shaft $$ for taxes on my new jetta, so that setts me back 1 month on my project
hope theres a BCM for fall

 

might be in a similar boat of not being able to make it neither ... its a really really tight fit and thats if all the dates work togethere too.

 

Well after talking to a few people we are going to POSPONE the July BCM, this is out of respect to many members not being able to make it due to prior engagements, cars not being completed, and the three meets that are around the same time was taken into consideration with the price of fuel.

So tentatively the BCM will take place either Sept 7th-9th, or October 12th-13.

If a moderator could make these above dates into a poll that would be great.

Simplify this by creating another thread by making a poll with possible dates. Besides, why have people sift through the pages of this thread to see If the meet will tentively go through? Start fresh. Don't you think?

 

Sure, but I don't think it's too hard to sift through 2 pages... But will do.

Nope cars off the road, it's a wash for this year, next year for sure, maybe two.

Yeah, I'm still piecing together mine. It's being done right though! All that'll be left to do will be paint...and that's next year's project. My goal at this point will be to break it in before it snows.

 

Hahaha lookd like everyones car is down for the count....the old 616 bit the dust the other day and I just got plates on it! Oh well, next year.

 

What did you do to that poor 616? More importantly, which wheels did you have on the car when it bit the dust? lol

 

Hahaha, I had the powder coated RX-4 rims on it....dont worry, your rims are safe lol.

But the 616 doesnt have a tach, so I think I overdid it when doing 80mph in 2nd gear. It spun a brearing and the motor seizes when it warms up now. It still runs....just wont idle
