Any Central Albertan's?

So I'm new to Alberta (just moved here from BC) and am looking to get myself a project 85 GSL-SE. I'm in Lacombe and have no idea where to find any rotary insiders. Have any of your guys found some reputable shops/dealers in the central area?

Welcome to Alberta..... you sure picked an interesting time to move - I wish I was moving to BC until summer gets here again

Long winters aside, AB is a great province for car enthusiasts. No inspections and lots of empty roads!

This website is awesome as a knowledge base, but to specifically find out about AB shops I suggest joining the alberta rotary & rx-7 Facebook page.

FWIW I hauled my FD all the way to ForceFed in Abbotsford. But I did all the wrenching on my FB, they are super easy to work on.

No inspections? Please elaborate...

I'm familiar with ForceFed as I grew up in Pitt Meadows (30 mins west of Abbotsford). That's one hell of a drive to get your car worked on! Must've been a big job.

My plan is to do most of the work myself but as a non-mechanic I know I'll need some professional help along the way.

Thanks for the heads up about the Facebook page.

Oh yeah it was a big job; fully stripped engine bay, paint, rewire, engine build, tune ..... lol

by no inspections I mean that one a car is registered in AB you can pretty much do whatever you want to it as there are no annual mechanical or emissions checks.
