Hey Hey.
The cruise was a lot of fun. Would have been nicer in my TII, but why break tradition and actually have it running for the meet. The Integra still has 1/2 tank of gas left. Can't beat that!!!

On a sad note, this will be Will's last Ottawa Meet. Just like the Backstreet Boys without Nick Carter, it won't quite be the same. He was a big part of the Ottawa Krew. I'll make him proud by winter driving his FD and painting the engine bay with blue.

that's amazing that I was able to be in Barrie AND Ottawa at the same time I think you meant "Jamie and his wife (and Issac)". my wife Aimee and I weren't able to make it unfortunately.

looking forward to those pictures.

Oops! Yes. Sorry Jamie. Thanks for the correction Leigh. Don't know what I was thinking there. I think the sun got to me too much.

His name isn't Lee or Leigh, anyway. It's L'eiquahtazatae.

Hey Jonnie W! The GTA folks you're were forgetting are Warren and Alice.
Thanks for putting the meet together! We had a great time.

Thanks to everyone who came out. I know I had a blast. Thanks again to Will for offering his place for the BBQ. Thanks to Aaron for helping me plan out the cruise route even though his graduation ceremony kept him from being there.

Merci encore aux Montrealais pour avoir venue. Votre support est apprecie

Big props to the two sets of folks from the GTA. Killer gas prices (and in the case of Jamie and his wife a baby-on-board!) didn't keep them away from what turned out to be an awesome meet. The folks from Mississauga (whose names I unfortunately forgot -again-!) were really cool and we're glad you came up.

To the folks from New Brunswick, good on ya! It's too bad the meet wasn't as big as we were expecting, I hope you had fun anyway.

Hopefully we can rally some folks together next year. Pushing the meet from May into June was exactly what it needed to shake the rain and bring us back to good weather. We're renovating our back yard here this year so maybe next year we can have a BBQ/Pool Party here since Will's won't be available.

I'll post pics later. Hope everyone had a great time.

Jon

Had a good time like always. There's not much to say that hasn't been said already.
Nice people, nice weather, nice cars... some food and alcohol. Simple pleasures.

A little hot and humid but what r ya gonna do?

It was nice to see some of the guys I met last year and meet some new folks. Wish I could have stayed longer. I was the guy with the Havana Brown SE and the 7 year old in tow :-). One of my son's had a birthday party to attend, so I wanted to do something special special for my oldest son. He enjoyed seeing the 7s and I explained the difference between the 3 generations. After an hour, it was time to go sadly. Next year, I hope to make the cruise and spend more time.

We both enjoyed it and he always loves going for a ride in the 7. We finished off the afternoon at A&W. Ice cold root beer cann't be beat :-)

Cheers,
Duane
