I know it's import tuner, but seems they did back to back testing with and without. |
well, 2 things.
1) wrong section 2) you want heat soak reduction and under hood temp reduction? its called wrap, or ceramic coat, the exhaust, as well as the intake. done Lloyd |
also. that is a lot of money when you can do the same thing with a stack of washers for under a buck.

Yeah, but those are mad billet tyte
yo. Those numbers are hard to argue with. I agree it looks stupid, and your car will appear broken, but I may be experimenting with this myself using some datalogs. Washers and longer bolts, obviously. I've got better things to spend $30 on. |
I used washers for my 1st gen SCCA car and saw an average temp. drop of about 15 degrees. Just FYI... and yes $30 is a lot of money for a billet part that costs maybe $3 to make. Much more reasonable at $15-20/pair I think.

Spacers like that don't work very well to raise the hood of the FC, or washers for that matter. A good friend of mine, junpower on the forum, used to make sheet metal spacers he would bend to lift the hood up. It's because the hinges on the FC are angled inward, rather than facing up (or down). Without a picture it's hard to tell you, but I hope this helps.

^ i know what you mean. when i pop and raise the hood, the hinges and hood shift a little. but does anyone know if they will fit and work? same bolt thread?
|
If the bolts don't work, you can get the right ones from hardware or parts store.
