I can't seem to be able to watch the vids
Was it running lean on 4x550s?
I'm interested in what timing worked for you as well
I'm running 20 degrees advanced ,I think

And to sharingan
I would not personally bridge the aux ports, tho it has been done. Seems like too much overlap to me, but I'm no expert
Ya Might wanna try drawing the ports out and make a degree wheel and see whats goin on
And as far as aux port sleeves go I have noticed no difference in idle or low end torque, high end seems the same too
The dyno will tell me more
If I did it again I'd get a goopy inserts and get rid of the sleeve, or find EU spec irons if I really wanted to get fancy

Yea, after additional research it appears the biggest problem w/ the aux ports is that they close too late, bridging them would only make that worse. So it looks like it'll be basic streetport treatment for those. Those Goopy inserts sound cool, but I don't see them on the website.

Can't wait to see what this thing does on a dyno, if you break 200 w/ that POS manifold the future looks very bright indeed! Btw, what kind of mpg have you seen so far?

Pretty bad, I usually get somewhere between 12 an 14mpg that's doin city and highway mixed

I think it's going to get worse too
I just clocked my AFM spring about 4 clicks to richen it up.
Runs way smoother but I lost a few hp it seems

here are a few videos

keeping the bridge "fed" the hard part of job (why the stock intake sucks).
once i got the Air fuel ratio around 13.0:1 at idle the sound different was night and day.

Ya, here is my car back then with 4 550cc injectors on a rtek stage 2.0.*

here is a video with the AFR around 13:1

here is the AFR around 15:1 with some nice afterburn lol

Same 15:1 AFR but better timing map

Here is the AFR super lean so much it did not even register

but I must add the throotle response was SO CRISP every where

sorry about that i have the wrong url

the aux ports need to be sleeved I mine has a metal epoxy to "build up" a sleeve similar to the pineapple racing aux port sleeves. with out that the engine cant really take advantage of the increased air flow. if it build so much turbulence at the end of the port.

you need some sort of ignition control the stock map does not "push' enough advance after 3k.

Still no dyno, still drives fine.
No turbo yet, no wideband, no TII intake swap, no tuning, no nothin. Just gas and oil.
Nothing has broken, no maintenance besides oil, flog everday...
Im still on the stock ecu... 17k miles later.
. I daily it when the seasons allow. Just been driving it, lots of autox and Montana mountain passes.
I deserve a cookie

Super digging this build, I'd love to see power numbers. If you get some respectable numbers with the stock intake system, I can only imagine what my standalone and throttle body set would net with similar porting. Gives me hope for the 200 whp mark!
