My new (to me) toy project

1988 RX7, stock NA 13b with 5 speed trans.
Not sure what rear end is in it yet.
Car runs great, burns very little oil.

Can't decide what color to go with yet, toss up between grabber orange, flat black with red highlights or striping... or maybe possibly vette yellow with either red or black accents.

It seems that you have an SE model. Which would mean you do not have a limited-slip differential. Typically the GTU and GXL models say "GTU" or "GXL" on the fenders. You have four lug wheels, black mirrors, and a sunroof (which was optional for the SE model).

You can always swap in a series four (S4) LSD.

Oh, and flat black is horrible.

"Lincoln locker"? Are you talking about welding the differential?

Yup... and the cars not staying flat black.

Do you plan on drifting it or something? It is not safe to weld the differential on a street car.

Sorry, I wasn't talking about the current color of the car. You had mentioned flat black with red highlights or striping... Flat black as a "paint job" just looks really bad. It is your car, though.

Drifting yes.. street driving - not much.

Oops i meant gloss black with red striping.
