You sir, have the nicest pulled stock front fenders i have EVER seen. EVER.

So good that it's over. Damn dood! Congrads.

Question, what is that light blue filler you're using for future reference? It looks like it levels well. I had good results with 3m brand glazing compound (the red stuff, air harden) but i had to work the the piss out of it and would not use it again in the future. I use long and short strand glass for re-shaping/filling dents and glaze with bondo. Bondo and "self leveling" do not work in the same sentence.

Thank you.

Your car looks A-MAZ-ING! Top notch work!

Arnomardi 03-22-10 07:23 PM

Thank you,
That stuff is called Z grip made by Evercoat, it's another type of bondo. The key is not to let the bondo dry all the way before you start sanding it. You have to sand it while it is semi soft so it will be alot easier.

RidinDirty 03-22-10 08:20 PM

looks soo clean!! lovin the rear pulled fenders!

Arnomardi 03-23-10 12:34 PM

Changing the color of my wheels

So I want to paint my wheels because they have a lot of chips on them and I was thinking of either painting them the same gray color or gold. I want to know what you guys think and I need other color suggestions as well.

Dltreezan 03-23-10 12:51 PM

same grey, no gold.

If it were me I would sell the t2 lip on the forum, use the money to buy a Cf one, get a cf rear diffuser as well and you would be ballin.

Arnomardi 03-23-10 01:07 PM

Yeah Im actually getting a CF rear diffuser, and a CF front lip would look nice.

FC_EDDIE 03-24-10 03:13 PM

Dont do that^^^

Just let me have the car and I'll get the lip and diffuser LOL jk jk

Ed (fc_pro_am) was telling me about your FC man so I had to check it out and it looks fuggin sick!!! Cant wait to see the new painted wheels...gold would be dope as would bronze...I'm not a fan of black faced wheels anymore.... too played out.

Arnomardi 03-24-10 07:02 PM

Thanks man, yeah im gonna think about it a little before I paint my wheels.

-=Lil Red=- 04-05-10 01:24 PM

looking good Arno.

looks like you found a front lip :)

Arnomardi 04-05-10 04:13 PM

Thanks, Yeah man luckily I found a brand new one.

gear_grinder 04-05-10 10:12 PM

makes me want to do body work again so i can do my car...

warlock78 04-06-10 09:04 AM

firstly, awesome car man!! not over the top, nice and simple, the way they should be. have you considered painting wheels bright green, keeping the lips polished?? would look good, i reckon.

Thank you, I suggest you do all the work yourself if you can, because this was a really fun project for me.

Thank you, I actually saw a picture of someones white FC here on the forum with bright green rims, I think they look really nice. I just have'nt decided on the color yet i'll keep that in mind though.

finishline 04-08-10 02:48 AM

sick FC bro. keep up the project man. glad to see that you're back in the rotary game and your FC's coming along. another white FC rollin' in the streets of LA. ;)

ineedfc 04-08-10 10:21 PM

cf lip and rear diffuser would totally complete the look. i think you should paint your rims the same color, or bronze would look killer, gold and white is too overplayed imo, and i think bright colored painted rims make me think its a kids car trying to look like a drifter. i also think bright colored rims would kill the clean look you have and attract unwanted police attention.
great job on all the body work, great looking finished product.

LAN 04-09-10 12:14 AM

This came out really good. nice job!
Maybe you can look into the exhaust next time?

I already got the Shine CF rear diffuser on it I will post pics in the next day or so, but the reason why I got the stock T2 lip is because it flexes when I go up and down my driveway it scrapes a little, with a CF lip it would probably break, But we'll see I might do it in the future and raise the fornt a bit. Thanks for the compliment.

Thank you. But whats wrong with my exhaust? I have an Apexi on it right now.

jefFC415finest 04-18-10 05:06 PM

how much did the TII swap run you?

Arnomardi 04-19-10 11:40 AM

Around $3,500 installed. That was the complete engine transmission and a complete rear end.

RE_GTUs 04-19-10 05:38 PM

absolutely beautiful man, I love it

mnrthrt 04-23-10 04:12 AM

where did you get your engine and rear end from?

Arnomardi 04-23-10 11:54 AM

His name is Japan2LA on the forum.

FC3S Murray 04-23-10 08:23 PM

Very clean FC build man! I love how white looks on the FC!

As for painting your WORK's...I don't know. You will have to take your time and do some photobucket editing with color changes to get a good contrasting wheel color.

Maybe a silver but a dark siver...not gun metal but like a pewter maybe??

Anyway great job on the fenders and car in general!!

boriquaracer 04-25-10 07:46 PM

by far one of the cleanest fc's i've ever seen!!!!! your car is my wall paper now for inspiration on what my car might be some day. great work!!

Slammedblk7 04-25-10 08:24 PM

Looking good! Well done.

JerryLH3 04-25-10 08:52 PM

You did an amazing job on those fenders. It looks great and the time and effort really shows up in the finished project. It made me wish I had my old white FC, as I forgot how good shiny white paint looks on these cars!

Thank you! I've already taken the advise from a couple of guys on here and I am going with a bronze color on the wheel should be done soon.

Thank you! I just measured it and it's about 5 inches from the ground with the way that I have the car setup.

I spy a motormavens.com sticker :D

Awesome job Arno, still waiting for the ride in this...

FC3S Murray 05-12-10 09:51 PM

Man......I am still coming back and admiring your work. :)

So what are you plans for the motor?

Arnomardi 05-13-10 10:57 AM

Thanks, I think first im gonna change my final drive then a street port, injectors and a stand alone, and then upgrade the turbo. But nothing to crazy because I really want to get into road racing.

Arnomardi 03-21-11 10:36 PM

What up fellas, do you guys know anyone with a rollcage and sparco type seats with rails for my FC? Please let me know.

srfjay 03-22-11 12:55 AM

Look very nice , One thing is that as low as you feel comfortable with in the rear ? Is that because the diffuser ?

-Crash- 03-22-11 02:36 AM

Wow thats beautiful.

cab91089 03-22-11 11:28 PM

Your FC looks amazing! Im also repainting mine but in no way at all will it even come close to as good as yours lol. Im 21 and this is my first attempt at repainting and doing an engine swap in any car. Hopefully in a few years Ill be able work my ass off and have results like yours

JohnFC3S 03-23-11 01:29 PM

Damn that is a beautiful FC. Very well done man. Really makes me miss mine.

Mr Beckman 03-23-11 02:10 PM

Thanx, yeah the diffuser sits really low so if I go any lower I will not be able to get in and out of my driveway.

Arnomardi 04-24-11 01:16 PM

Thanx guys!

Spirit-RE 04-24-11 03:17 PM

This has to be one of the best if not the best stock-bodied FC on this forum.

FC's look excellent in white.

side_wayz7 05-07-11 08:10 PM

one of my favorite 7's on the club :icon_tup:

RXntrik7 05-07-11 10:34 PM

This reminds me of how my engine bay looked like. I love how u rolled the fenders and quarter panels out. I still have to learn how to do it but since im restoring an ae im gonna try to keep it stock. That quarter was awful thought :0
