Welcome to my build thread, my name is Luis from Miami, FL :icon_tup:
I'm going to be building my 1990 GTU https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...6eb7d5c2a1.jpg So far what I have done to her: PoweredByMax Coilovers Nardi Steering Wheel Corbeau GTB Vintage seats Takata Harness OEM Japanese City Lights Bubble Turn Signals OEM Wind Deflectors Basically cosmetic stuff, but now we're getting down to the nitty-gritty I will update you guys day by day! |
Here is a picture of my interior!
https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...b1ea35a0fe.jpg Just changed the sunroof last night, previously had a warped carbon fiber one leaking water inside. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...ea1dd6d7bb.jpg |
Hey I recognize those seats! Pretty sure I know who you got them from haha. I can barely see the wheels, but they look really good on the car! Care to upload a couple more pictures showing the whole side of the car?
Of course man! Here she is last Saturday at the South Florida Rotary meet.
(my girlfriend wanted a picture with her haha) https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...c3c6caddc9.jpg |
Love it. The gold on the red looks awesome.
Thanks man, I'm still debating if I should keep her red or paint her a different color.
I vote keep it red. Looks perfect the way it is right now.
Yeah I just might go a little darker red, if not same Blaze Red. :icon_tup:
Is it need of a new paint job? Looks pretty good in the pictures.
It could use it, I bought it a year ago and previous owner said the paint was fresh. Paint has some spots, dents, and the hood I bought off someone I know, and the paint is faded and has dents here and there.
You could probably get a good portion of the dents pulled out. And try taking the car to a good detailer to have the paint given some love. They can make faded paint look as good as new, but it depends on how thick it is.
I tried personally pulling out the dents and on side a little backed up into my door and completely pushed it in. I pulled a bit out but couldn't get the rest.
