BOV help

The line connects to a manifold vacuum source. And if I'm guessing right, you probably have a knockoff Greddy type RS valve. If so, it has 2 ports. You connect the vacuum hose to the top port. I believe the lower port is for added noise and effect.

Let me fix that. I meant a Greddy Type S knockoff. I have one too, and it's worked for about 4 years now with no issue.

Looks like this?

I did, however, end up buying an HKS SSQV. I thought it was a legitimate part, but after some extensive research I found it was a knockoff piece as well. After about 2 months of service, the valve seized shut and wouldn't blow off any more.

notice my solid aluminium motor mounts in pic, hope those aren't junk either

Solid motor mounts are always junk..
why on earth would you use them other then the fact that they are cheap..

I use the same BOV that the OP now has. Had leaking issues with it when I left it vented to the atmosphere. Even when I tightened it with the allen wrench. So, I tore it apart, stretched the springs a bit, reinstalled it, and recirculated it to the TID. It isn't really a problem anymore. Very soon I will be removing it and running absolutely no BOV.

Just keep an eye and an ear on it. It may or may not leak on you. There are always solutions to fail-points.

got the solid motormounts because they look cool and were cheap why are they junk ? have you ever used them??

I use solid engine mounts. The only drawback to them is an annoying rattle when accelerating around 1800-2000 rpm. Any little rattle you had before will be severely pronounced in that RPM range. They are cheap though, and they will never break or sag. Either live with the rattles or find them and fix them.

My car rattles no matter what lol a little more won't hurt
