Wow, it's been a long time since I updated this thread, as of now the car is pretty much the same, I bought a new turbo transmission because 3rd gear started to grind bad in the current one, I have also done a proper manual pedal swap with assist spring and manual break and clutch pedals. Biggest project for this winter was Abercrombie extended joints and tire rods that I will use with previously bought knuckles, however I have been waiting for them for four months now, thus the delays in updates. Drifting season starts soon here, hopefully I can my first one on April 13th, I will have much more content submitted for those that would like to follow this build.

Finally, first event of the season, I still have not received extended ball joints from Abercrombie so I was forced to throw the S5 arms back on for this event, car felt great after dialing in suspension and tire pressure, here are some pictures I found posted on FB, hopefully someone will post a video. I also found a water pump leak and was stuck fixing the car a day before the drift event, but everything got done and worked great. This drift event took place at Lake County Speedway, hosted by DriftCleveland.

How long have you been waiting on your knuckles from Zak at ambercrombie? I too am waiting now for four months

Received Abercrombie's ball joints and tie rods. Stuff looks really good, the quality of the products is amazing, he just needs to get his timing figured out because the wait time for parts is a bit worrying. Anyways here is how the process went...

I forgot my lug nut key at a friend house and was forced to to everything without taking the wheels off, because he lives almost an hour away. After struggling to get the arms back on I started shortening the tie rod couplers because because I run rack spacers and Zak makes them extra long for different setups. I dun goofed and cut one of the on the wrong side and now have to order a spare or weld it back together. I cut the end that faces the wheel and not the inner rod. Durr. Here are the pics I took in the process. I do not have wide fenders and run 17x9 +15 wheels upfront with 215/45 federal tire. The tire is about 2" from hitting the LCA now but the opposite wheels is close to the frame rail, there is way more angle in this kit, I just have to run either a skinnier wheel or wide fenders. Overall the kit is great, and I cant wait to drive with it in the beginning if June.

I will give a better review once I get the coupler issue sorted, get it aligned, and drive it around.

Time to update this thing,

The Abercrombie kit is an amazing purchase for the $$$, car drives so good now drifting, the front camber bumped up to -5.8 which is great for drifting as the leading wheel now sits flat at lock. Could be lowered with camber plates if I decide it's too much. Everything in the kit feels solid. The angle adjusters are great from preventing the wheel from hitting the frame rail as I'm using a 17x9 +15 wheel with no spacers to get in within the fender. Also at the last event this bracket got loose and my brake line wrapped around the coilover, will be fixing this my eliminating the clamp and mounting the line to the ABS bracket on the mount

Haven't been here in a while, after an awesome short season of events, my engine finally let go this fall, there were metal bits in the exhaust ports and the rotors are gouged badly, I will upload pics later with full story. After much thought I have decided to part out anything rotary related and purchase an SR20 swap. It will be an interesting build for me and I think it will be pretty unique as there are not that many SR FC drift cars out there.
