Fitted in place!

turbogslse 05-18-14 08:19 PM

@ioTus - lot of places carry the Champion 2 Row. Don't waste your time on the 3 row. It won't fit in the stock location and allow you to use your stock fan, and the lower coolant hose hits the motor mount.

See Ebay Item number 111342125167 for the one I bought and the place I got it from. They even exchanged my 3 row for a 2 row a year after I bought it!

Dave - good call! After going through the hassle of having them send me a replacement (non-painted) radiator, i test-fit the damaged one and lo, and behold, the lower hose points directly at the engine mount.

I don't even know how they can sell these as being compatible with our cars! So far i'm zero-for-three on my ebay special radiators. I'll give the Champion 2 row a shot.

Thanks for the tip - just saved me weeks of more headaches!

Dave,

I 100% hear you on the wide-bodies. Personally, if anything, I'm going for the fender flare look. For whatever reason the Aussie Group-C look just totally does it for me.

As far as widebodies tho....

I see my old FD in the background of that first picture haha.

That was a good time.

I ordered the Mode 4 Mariah bumper last week.

If you decide to sell the Mariah side skirts and rear lower skirt I'd be interested. Might also be interested in another Mode 4 front bumper also.

turbogslse 12-08-14 11:53 AM

@KC - I honestly doubt I'll sell the side skirts or rear. I plan to try an integrate them with the Mode 1 unless it just looks really weird/dumb. If it doesn't work out with the combo, then I'll just keep them for the next Mode 4 car I put together. And, you have a PM

Thanks for the PM. I understand wanting to keep the mode4 parts.

Sooo... Mode 1 installation has begun in earnest. I'll just throw up the pics. You know how body fit up goes...

That is BEAUTIFUL!

Can you show a picture of the underside of the hood. I want to do that NACA Scoop.
