In too Deep - 500+HP Future Time attack/ Current Weekend Warrior

So I already have a build thread but it was a bit all over the show so I'm starting fresh. I am currently in the middle of a rebuild and I had the mindset at the start of " It's out, I might as well do everything well get everything done". Fast forward nearly a year, I have spent a stupid amount of money getting my pride and joy to become what I have pictured in my head and now I'm too deep into it to "cheap-out" now. So bust out the 2- minute noodles with me and join the journey

End result

I'll start with my goal as such. I'm planning on building my car to compete in the Super Lap series in New Zealand ( Time Attack) plus other track events or any other series that take my fancy but the current focus will be Super Lap. While being mainly track, I also want it to remain road legal

History

2014 and I had just recently sold my previous pride and joy - 2001 Honda Torneo Euro R and was looking at something with a bit more grunt to take over. I had a few options in mind - GC8 Type RA WRX, R32 GTR, 180SX, NSX ( In my dreams, maybe ). I had never actually considered an RX7 until one popped up in my price bracket - A really tidy example, completely factory Series 6 with 24,000km (14,000-15,000miles) on the clock - freshly imported and verified odometer. I did my research and started to like what I was looking at, I had it checked out by a rotary specialist up north and then put it on a transporter down and instantly fell in love. It drove amazing, sounded amazing and I had a new best friend in my oversized Dorito can with twin hair dryers.
Over the years, I've slowly made changes and modifications - along with a few Series 8 goodies. 3 Years later and plenty of track days, my pride and joy blow a couple of apex seals and here I am now.

Keep in mind this is my first proper build doing it 90% myself in my lock up so don't expect anything super amazing but to me it means everything to be able to do this on my own with my own 2 hands.

My motor is due back next week and then the fun begins

Thank you for reading

Thanks, man! I do try but space and tools limit what I can do. I'm from Wellington, I've have seen your car streaming around at chrome and REunion a few times haha
