Rotor position

Sup Guys,

My water seal gave out on me a few years ago. I'd removed and disassembled the motor, cleaned the rotor housing/iron plates, but I did not get the chance to clean the rotors. They have been sitting in a clean shoe box all that time. My dilemma is, I have no idea which rotor goes where? Are there any marking that would indicate there positions? I did the search and have not found any answers.

Thank you, Jay

Doesn't really matter just make sure you put the oil control ring springs the correct way.

Wrong section BTW

I was told by my builder that the heaviest rotor goes to the front rotor housing.

If you want to use that theory then look for the letter on the rotor which references the weight.

Shouldn't matter

if you are going with all new seals then it wont matter. The reason you keep the rotor sequence because that rotor fits the housing ,plates ,seals and groove seating

Yes, I plan on reusing my apex, side, and corner seal. This is a low milage motor that blew a water seal because of a broken fan blade hub. I went back and watched Rotary Aviation's video again and explanied how you can tell which rotor goes where by the apex seal. On one of my rotor, apex seal was still stuck on to the rotor. According to Bruce, if the small tri-angle piece is at the open face of the rotor, then it is the front rotor, and vise versa.
