reliability mods?
 

I tried searching to see what I could find but wasn't able to find anything. this weekend I may be picking up an FD. There are 88k miles on it and it still has its original engine. so I know that I will probably need a rebuild in the near future. I don't know if I should try to do this right away, or just wait for the current motor to shit itself.....any suggestions? Also I am in south eastern VA and I don't know of any rotary shops in the area. Any suggestions on that as well? Now on to the real point of this thread.... the car is bone stock so I wanted to go thru and do some of the reliability mods on it to keep it running smooth and cool. can someone give me some input on what things I should look at, and what things I should look into replacing or modifying? Its been years since I owned another FD and back then I didn't really care about these things...I was 21 and chasing girls with the car (I actually ended up getting more attention from guys haha)

ive also read places about replacing radiator fans? are they known to go out? or just not be reliable

OEM fans are are good as you are gonna get , and they are very reliable .

also this is the build thread section which is for well build threads lol

try the regular third gen section for these kinds of questions .

my bad man I realized it was the wrong section after I posted it. is there any way for me to move it or do I need to get a MOD to do that

ask them to move it . cant do anything yourself I dont think

sell it and get a honda, cant get any better reliability than that..
