Got just about everything installed today. Got the blitz BOV in a similar area to where the HKS was. Had to reuse and modify the custom bracket I had made for the HKS. The blitz gives two options, one with the factory air box and another that puts it right where my HKS filters hang. So that was fun to figure out.
Feed oil cap and strut bar went on no problem. Installed my passenger door handle, waiting on LED’s and resistors so i can do the key hole light and put in the driver side. I didnt look into how the feed front tow hook installed before hand.. goes right where my radiator is now hanging with the v mount so ill be looking for other options for that and prob put it up for sale. My rear factory tie down is bent but the hook went on no problem.
Need to do something with that ugly UIM now that I have all this shiny stuff lol
It looks like you and I have the same brand addiction. Those FEED handles are super nice, they make smile every time I go to open my doors, so much better than stock IMO.
That sucks about the front tow hook, I have the same worry over fitting the Garage Alpha titanium hook, but I think an adapter plate should do the trick. You could do the same for your FEED one?
As for your UIM, FEED does offer a carbon cover, but then you still have the throttle body to deal with. Personally, when you get a rainy week I would pull the UIM and TB and send them in for a good polishing to match your other pipework
Also, looking at your second to last pic - is that AST pipe touching your intercooler? Would hate to see you bend any fins. Is relocating the battery something you are considering? I find it really declutters the engine bay and will allow you space to move the AST to re route that pipe and will provide better flow through your v mounted intercooler.

We do share an addiction haha. The car came with so many feed parts it feels weird putting the few RE-Amemiya bits on. The handles are great mine were pretty janky looking. Now hopefully I wont have to worry about them breaking for a long time.
The problem with the hook is where it bolts up, to the inside of the frame rail on the right side of the car. That is where the bracket from the v mount goes that holds up the rad and intercooler. I looked at the super now hooks, they mount on the outside of the rail but not sure how it would fit with the bumper. Looks like it goes through the outer vent on the 99 spec.
I thought about the cover, and poloshing. Not sure what im gonna do yet. Never been a huge fan of polished everything under the hood.
The hose is close but not touching. Ive already bent and fixed a bunch of the fins when installing, having to put it in and take it out so many times. Should have covered it with the cardboard atleast but oh well. I actually had the lrb battery mount installed and took it out with their rear interior pieces. Something has always bothered me about having a battery inside. Running the big gauge wire is a pain. Though as you say it will coean up the bay alot. If I come across one of those nice SARD battery boxes I may do it, that way I can put it back in the hatch area and it will be enclosed.
So with my trip coming up I had been mulling over a spare tire since my car didnt come with one. I found a thread on here that mentioned mustang cobra spares, then getting the correct size tire put on to fit in the spare tire well. I was looking high and low locally as I wasnt too interested in spending a bunch on a spare. So anyway, I happened to ask my buddies if they had any spare tires laying around as a last resort. The 3000GT owner above told me he had his factory one and it doesnt clear his huge brakes. So I looked into it, 67.1 hub bore which matches ours, its a 17” so should clear my front RZ brakes, and best part.. its free! I met up with him to grab it yesterday, and the damn thing even has a small enough tire to fit the spare tire well!
I dont suspect you’ll find many 2nd gen 3000GT VR4 spare tires in the world, but if you do, its an option.
edit: properly inflated it doesnt fit ill keep a portable air pump with me until I get a tire that does

Me neither.
I did a quick search about changing the door handles out just to make sure I didnt miss or break anything. Came across a theead with a DIY to change the bulb in the lock cylinder and I was like what? So I ordered up a thousand pack of 5mm LED’s (theyre cheap) and resistors. Soldered it all together while changing my handle, quick and easy. Not important to have but its nice to know I do have it
Here’s a short vid. The light comes on when you pull the handle and shuts off after a short while, 20-30 seconds? Im guessing its there so in the dark you can pull the handle to find the key hole. Really cool.

Ordered a rotary performance billet secondary rail along with 2x 2200cc injectors. Also started working on this rocker panel. The metal here is a bear.. id love to chop it off and put on a new one but havent seen any.
For having no idea what im doing I think it turned out okay. Good learning experience. It was never gonna match up since the car has that texture crap on the lower side. I'll get the whole car redone some day.
So I still dig into every aspect of this cars history that I can. I found a post on FEED’s twitter showing that the president engraves each center housing of every engine build they do. Today I pulled the UIM to start on the secondary rail and was able to find this engraving. Confirmed FEED Nurburgring Spec build on Jan 31st 2008. Still running strong

Nice build! Those FEED door handle assemblies are crying out for a new set of door lock fascia cover plates and dust shutters! :-)
Got the rotary performance rail and 2200cc injectors installed. Also got my new defi red racer gauges installed in a draklore pod. Waiting on some vacuum hose to put my intake back on and then install the efini y pipe and crossover pipe.
Got the rail and injector job fully done. Deleted the acv in the process and she started and ran great. Also installed the efini y pipe and crossover pipe. Waiting on an adapter for the new temp sensor before I can take it for a drive. Also washed it yesterday
Not much going on with the car lately which is a good thing. Just driving. A little over 3k miles in my ownership, just done my 2nd oil change. Next on the agenda is working out a/c cause 90+ without is getting old as hell.
Lol i am with you there, but i still lot of work to do and even then i dont think i would drive mine in the melting florida heat. Nice keeping it runing great..
Vertex turn signal extender. After adding my quick release I could no longer reach the stalk without removing my hand which can be very annoying and cause me not to use them at times (shifting down with the other hand). Very nice piece that is super adjustable and does its job great.
Next up is a set of Car Shop Glow v2 Attack bumper lights. I ordered these the first week if April, got them this week so quite the wait time. I wasn’t sure how these were gonna work out with the Feed bumper. But id seen photos of 99 style lights in them and thought it was worth a shot.
I hooked them up to make sure they powered on and the remote worked.
Then i threw them in the bumper.
Atleast on my raggedy bumper, these would NOT look ok without the covers on. They recess in pretty far and have some gaps. I didnt check the other side which hasnt been “repaired” in the past but im pretty sure it will be about the same. Ive gotta trim some on the back side so the lights go fully in and then ill be good to go.
If you’re curious about the remote.. These work as standard parking/running lights as shown in the photos, then you have amber led’s in the center of each of the 4 lights for the blinkers. The remote allows the brightness of the white led’s to be changed, as well as quite a few modes of flashing or strobing which is all adjustable in brightness and speed. They sell these for circuit use, hence the “Attack” in the name. I just thought they were cool and im a ricer so
I will definitely be testing out the extender this weekend. Ive been gone for 2 weeks so im dying for a drive. Gonna try to get the lights buttoned up this evening. I also forgot I bought a new shift boot from redline goods, my oem has a hole in it. Need to toss that in too.
Finished up the CSG lights. The other side didnt require trimming and went in perfect (the unrepaired side of the bumper). Put the lenses back on and they look great. Super happy with them.
