So my GCG clock at 370-380ish is pretty good for a engine that race 3 full year at track
That sounds great to me.
I am also curious at about what power level(s) were those three years of racing at?

Front show almost no sign of wear still at healthy high 7kg to8
On the rear is close at mid 7kg

As power wise hard to say never dyno it
As compare my top speed at end of straight way is pretty close to my friends E46M3 race car
So I assume I should have about 300-320hp

I use to own a 13B PP road race car with Re amemiya exterior
But I don't think I took it to NCA~

Final race of year

The old gas was like crap so foul my plug before dyno
With GCG turbo decide to take to dyno one more time to tune , with more aggressive tuning
Made 20whp compare to last week, but injector are firing over 95% duty cycle !!! And EGT temp over 1000c
So was Rush to glad some VP 109 and plan adjust the AI injection % to cool the champer

Friday
After session... huge smoke come from hood
U can see it at pic, after dig around and pull off the fire found out one of sterling rack u joint dust boot catch fire ... I think that is two main reason
The botton turbo heat shield was left out was plan to adjust the wastage rod , and my engine mount is 1cm lower then normal , thus is too close to dust boot

With 280 slick , is much easier and cheaper to brake in tire with tire warmer ,that is tool I regard not to buy earlier

After the test I was call to get my car reweight
1210kg race weight with 80L of fuel but that is some perfect balance of corner weight !!!!!!
But a 1300kg incl driver I need to come out a plan to reduce weight

what in the world are they doing differently to make a turbo FD last 10hr endurance race !? on stock turbo no less.
most FD in the US have problem lasting a test day without breaking something.

Seriously is there something we are missing?

Alpine
I personally track this set up for almost another 20hr of track time , no issue on engine

I think people are miss one thing is, dyno number don't win u any race , the set up and reliable is , those crazy hp floating on the net some time do make me envy , but that is not a reliable road race setup ~

U can see all my set up thought thread
So this is how we can build a reliable car

The EGT temp still pretty high , crank up the AI to 40% at boost from 30% , but kinda da will cause miss fire at cooling down lap... so adjust back to 35%

The spark plug picture are lower are leading

Some incar footage of the race

I qualify extremely well this time, with lap time 1:49 that put me in one of fastest tuning car in country as compare most of WTCC BMW and civic , chevy's best lap time around 1:51-50. And 997 cup car's lap time average about 1:47
So I am really proud of my 26 years old car
That is drive by myself and mod by myself

Ahahahaha! That is outrageously close corner weights for just coming off track (as opposed to just having set corner weights).

I see the parts you have are pretty much the same as what most track FD are using, that's why I thought I must be missing something

What is your max boost?
Max water temp on a hot day?
Max oil temp on a hot day?
Did you remove the water thermostat?

Thanks !

Randy

Randy

Max boost .9kg with GCG high flow
Rev cut at 7400RPM
Ai injectotion 70/30
Water temp under 85c even in dog fight
Oil is under 90
Still stock thermo

I think key is not out power ur competition
Is All about how fast u can carry speed at corner to have fast lap time

Some shot at race
Next years plan will be rebuild a street port engine, and fine tune the susoension with stiffer spring, and aerodynamic balance of the car

Plan to rebuild the engine before next session

Since I no longer limit by japabese super endurance regulation so I will upgrade my motor a bit

Here are what I want

Small. Amemiya street port

Build to apex CNC. Fc rotor (race gas vp 109 is like 150 US a drum here, so I rather use pump gas but higher boost)

RX-8 SHAFT AND DYMANIC balance

?
A xmas gift for my FD ?????

Will simply fuel system by place all 4 injector at same rail~ and in order to maximize flow
I can't get think better way just to use excessive lower manifold !!!

Beside

Some thing special is knighsport over size water pump pulley
This is pretty rare parts , as this is race only parts
By reduce water pump speed at WOT thus slower down the flow of coolant and will help the engine to cool better because coolant will stay in radiator for longer

Are these S4, S5, S6 rotors? compression ratio?

is it CNC machined from a mazda rotor?

haha just wondering what you meant by CNC rotor.
What kind of work did they perform on the rotor?

Cnc remove about 400G for each rotor
And side cut the rotor , prepare for high RPm used
