That sounds like a plan! There are some fun roads very close and 2 covered bridges that are 5-10miles from my house too. I'm always down for some nice pics too. I got some new wheels this winter and I'm dying for some new pics :nod:

I did the ducting myself, so I would not know where to go to have someone do it... however for an M2 medium your best bet would probably be a fiberglass duct as you need to make some tight angles and bends and working with fiberglass is easier IMO unless you have lots of metal fabrication tools and experience.

As far as the RE-Speed filler neck im not really sure. I went to their website but could not seem to find it (although there were pictures). I got mine used from GoodfellaFD3S.

I have had an ACT street/strip for a while now, but it is still basically new. It has maybe 5k miles on it tops. When I pulled it off the pressure plate still had the grooves from the manufacturing process, I was going to replace the clutch disk while it was out but the wear was very minimal.

Nice! My wheels are the only thing I am waiting on... They should be arriving into the country any day now :egrin:

TRAK DAYZZZ!! I can already tell the mounts are going to be a huge difference... with my old stock mounts i could push on the motor and rock it back and forth. With these it is solid as a rock!

Curious though, how much horsepower are you pushing with your current setup? I'm looking have my car on the track this summer, but sticking with 300-325 HP since it's also my daily driver.

I have never had my car on a dyno with this setup so I really cant tell you for sure, but if I had to guess I would say somewhere around 350.

Stock twins running 10 psi (creeps to 13 psi in 4th/5th) with a ported motor and all supporting bolt-ons.

I have been quite happy with the power level for a while and Im not planning on any major power upgrades just yet.

Thanks Gordon. I put alot of effort into the design and fabrication of the whole ducting setup and I am really happy how it turned out. Funny part is I never had any temperature problems to begin with... I just wanted to do it for the challenge, and also of course to have a properly setup car for the track :nod::icon_tup:

Cool, I see in some of the pics you used 6061, but what guage did you use?

For any large flat section I would definately recommend 0.050 as it is strong enough to minimize flexing yet still manageable to work with. I had planned on doing everything with 0.050 however for some of the more intricate bends I found it too difficult to work with using the tools I had avialable. The side plates for my rad duct had many tight angles and multiple bends that I could not make with the 0.050 so I stepped it down to 0.040. The small size of the piece and the intricate angles allowed the part to be nice and rigid. However the 0.040 in a large flat section without any bends flexes quite a bit.

Your ducting looks really good. I like how you left room around the front mount for air to pass straight to the radiator.

Yup, IMO radiator takes priority over intercooler. However I do have plans for the intercooler... Currently the intercooler is sealed on top, but I have a template worked out already for a sort of splitter that will follow the perimeter of the remaining three sides. That way it still will not be blocking all the air to the radiator, yet it will force more air through the intercooler without letting the air go around it.

Hey John, which strength aluminum did you use for the ducting? I see there is T0, T4, and T6 on that website. This is my last question on ducting specs I swear haha.
