FD3S - Driftproject - Denmark
Hi, everybody!
In August 2010 i bought this FD on auction in Japan, the condition is very good (3.5) im very happy and satified about it, and love the way it handle.. onfortuanatly ive only driftet it one time on a track, then problems started to come with my vaccum system, so while i were in a drift the boost droped and the car got from oversteering to understeering, right into some water barriers! therefore i decided to take a year out of the calender and build it into a propper driftcar. i will post pictures from the start and as it is know! http://i908.photobucket.com/albums/a...992_6sep10.jpg here's a small vid of the car at the auction house in japan :wave: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rvbRnljiQGk |

i was going to weld up my diff, thought it will take like 2 hours or so just like it will on a toyota!!! damn a hell of a operation on a mazda, had to take of both driveshafts and a dusin og bolts.. but got it off and its now ready to get abused by the WELDER!!! :D:D

Small update, a friend of mine got a fiberglass company, so he made super lightweight hood, frontfenders, doors and trunk for me.. I havent got the trunk, and doors yet but heres some pics.

Denmark huh? How much did you have to pay in taxes to import that car? I hear it's crazy. I thought everyone rode bicycles there ;)

yes, taxes in denmark are CRAZY! but since ive got my one company at the time i imported it, i played a little with the numbers, so the tax for importing it was about 1000 dollars :) BUT i i wanted it to drive on the road with licensplates i will have to pay 2000 dollars for get it approoved and hold on tight 22.000 dollars to get it on license plates!... its redicueless country when it comes to cars
