DREAM PROJECT CAR - SUPER RARE FEED Afflux v5 Wide Kit!!

While you are down there.......
One thing I would like to mention, again, is the outstanding workmanship at ForceFed Performance in Abbotsford.
As you can probably tell, I am pretty damn **** about how things should be on my car. But I have to admit I continue to be pleasantly surprised at how detailed and well executed of a job Rob did on the wiring. I am always happy to find top notch workmanship in places no one ever sees
*PLEASE excuse the paint drip in the second picture, also the disconnected earth; I still need to clean that up and re connect.....

Brakes......done!
Well as some of you will know from my other threads, I had some issues finishing up the brakes.
On a positive note it resulted in me pulling the old crusty master cylinder and installing a spanky new Chips Motorsports 929 Master:
Out with the old
Out with the old
In with the new:

Idle Surging - Solved
One issue I noticed last summer was surging idle when the radiator fans came on. The culprit, an under performing alternator.
To be honest it was not really a surprise, what with upgraded ignition, fuel pump those HID headlights, all my gauges and the meth system the stock alternator had no chance.
So I have opted to try the ARD 150A alternator, they are made by ADVANCE in Japan so I expect it to be of high quality. Out of the box it looks great and bolts right in. Its a heavy sucker though, I expect due to all the extra windings.
I will let you all know how it performs!

FYI ADVANCE also makes another FD alternator under the ADVANCE name rather than ARD - it that looks much cooler and I was tempted to purchase until i noticed that it is only 130A and costs even more
I was also pleasantly surprised how closely the blue matches the Cusco strut bar and catch can, so that was a win.

The Ancient
This is the only wide body kit I've ever seen that I like. The front is great with the newer style headlights and the rear is the whole rear and really blends well. The rear spoiler lip back enbd reminds my of the Ferrari Maranello. Very pretty.

Following this build big time. We have a very similar story too which makes it all the more fun. It has also inspired me to push the envelope on my build a little bit more.

Wow, that means a lot, thank you!
It is great to get some positive feedback on the kit and the design. I do understand how it can be very polarizing and as it has removed many of the iconic FD features people love (which is one of the reasons I wanted to keep the engine rotary and keep the twins). The tail lights seem to be the most controversial change. But it made me really happy to see your comment. I feel the kit is designed very well and fits as a whole. I especially like the fact there are no bolts or rivets on show, it makes it look very clean.
Also you are spot on the money with the Ferrari Maranello comment for the rear; that coupled with the TVR Sagaris front end and I think we know where Mr Fujita got his inspiration

This is a really great project you've got going on! It was enough to bring me back from the dead and start posting again. I saw this on youtube not long ago, and I thought what a beautiful car. Congrats on the journey so far!
